Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir Break for Two

From the moment you arrive at the hall door of Le Manoir, you are treated like royalty. Your bags are brought to the room without a whisper and every member of the staff there is unbelievably helpful, friendly and accommodating. The place is so beautiful, the grounds are immaculately maintained and there are surprises round every corner of the gardens. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

From arrival until leaving we felt relaxed, were treated like friends and enjoyed the meal of a lifetime. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and had lovely views of the property. During our stay everything was discreetly taken care of to ensure we could relax and enjoy ourselves. At no point did we feel we were just customers in a business - there was no nasty check in - no swiping of our credit card (until the end), the staff were friendly and polite and very, very helpful - especially the sommelier who unlike any other we have encountered elsewhere was happy to suggest single glasses of wine to match our meal when we told him we didn't want to drink too much! We would love to visit again and stay for much, much longer....

My husband treated me for my 50th Birthday with a five course meal and an overnight stay at Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisions. We had the most fantastic time, the Junior Suite we stayed in was out of this world, and our meal was the best we have ever tasted. It was the most memorable experience, we didn't want to leave. The setting and grounds were lovely too.

My husband is used to staying in top notch hotels all over the world, so getting him something to mark his 50th birthday had to be different and unique - and thus challenging! The experience at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir was out of this world! The service, grounds, food, accommodation was outstanding! There was nothing more that could have been done to add to this amazing experience. Many thanks to you all.

Excellent service and staff in a stunning hotel with stunning food and great people.

One might think after a 10 course meal + amuse bouche before and petit fours afterwards with the coffee that one would not be able to move after the meal. Quite the contrary which is the secret of such a meal as all the portions have amazing flavour and also give you the urge to taste more. I can now fully appreciate why the Michelin Guide rate it so highly with 2 stars.

The hotel was amazing, warm and friendly and gave us a really homely feeling. Our room was exceptional and we couldn't think of anything that would have made it better. The gardens were magnificent and a pleasure to wander around. Everything was just like a dream. Thank you very much for the experience.

This offers the best in hospitality and fine dining. Complete indulgence! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and the discreet service was as second to none. The food was superb and the room was beautiful. I cried when I was shown our room, because it was so beautiful. asteful, total haven. We were woken to the sound of church bells and the gardens are an expereience in themeselves. All the food is grown and picked from the gardens when it is needed. It is a homage to fresh, quality ingredients. A treat for anyone interested in growing their own produce. The smell of fresh herbs and vegetables hang in the air! The gardens are a sensory experience and we were able to enjoy them in beautiful June susnshine. Totally spoiling and unforgettable.

The location, house, food and atmosphere were all perfect and provided an oasis of calm that was much needed. It is the perfect antidote to modern life.

Le Manoir is a lovely place, it would be very hard to be critical of anything. The room was lovely, the food is fantastic and the service is exceptional.

Spoilt from the moment we arrived until we left. From having a glass of wine on the lawns to eating a memorable meal in the restaurant. Great wine selection and very knowledgeable wine waiters (fortunately!)

Myself and my husband were given 1st class treatment from the moment we walked through the door until the time we left. The whole package was a fantastic experience that we will never forget. Excellent value, well worth the money. Le Manoir is outstanding and the food deserves the Michelin Stars. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they ensured that we had a relaxing, enjoyable break.

Even if, as I expect, we go back to Le Manoir, this first visit will remain in our memories as a very special time.

What a beautiful place! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable - very attentive, but not smothering. Our junior suite was beautiful, tastefully decorated and with special touches like our own Christmas tree, a bottle of madeira and scrabble delivered on request. Dinner was the highlight, though - exceptional food and wine, served with care and attention to detail. I'll never be able to eat risotto again after tasting Le Manoir's - absolutely delicious. Our only regret was not making enough room for the cheese board!

When I gave my husband Neil the Red Letter Day envelope and he opened it, he was so excited that he had tears in his eyes, something not seen since our wedding day. The service and atmosphere at the Le Manoir is just amazing and anyone would love to go here. We stopped over in the top room of Le Manior and were very excited to hear that Raymond Blanc himself had stayed in that room the previous night. The food, drinks and attention to detail was incredible with the tea infused for at least 4 minutes before serving. It is just one place where you can't help but relax and enjoy yourselves.

Well perhaps not the 'other half' but the other 5% (and people given a Red Letter Day)! If Le Manoir served 'pub grub' it would still be a very special place - but of course it does NOT and their food could certainly not be surpassed anywhere in the world. A truly memorable experience from the moment you step out of the car.

We knew we were going to a top class restaurant and hotel, but we were not prepared for the end-to-end first class experience. Our room was gorgeous, the gardens magnificent, the afternoon tea in the garden in the sunshine was perfect and the five course meal in the evening was a piece of delicious artwork. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as highly valued guests. What was special though is that the staff really enjoyed what they were doing and there was no hint of a master/servant ethos. It was as if it was a wonderful experience for us all, we just had different roles. We feel very lucky to have had our visit to Le Manoir, thank you.

Was expecting great things with the food, and we were not disappointed. The quality of service by the staff at Le Manoir was also exceedingly good.

From the moment we arrived, the baggage was collected and from then on it was 100% luxury. Food was outstanding, wine list to heavy to hold and surroundings were tranquil. Only problem is now I want to return for more!

From the service of the staff, to the luxury of the room, to the exceptional menu and wine list, this is an experience that will stay in the memory for a very long time.

What a fantastic experience! No detail was left uncovered from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Service like this doesn't come cheap ... but it's well worth it. The food was the best ever complemented by an excellent wine list, and what a delightful room complete with spiral staircase to the bathroom.

This experience was a great weekend to remember, from the moment you get out of the car you are waited on by friendly helpful staff. The hotel and rooms were excellent. The menu was a little daunting at first with the selection of food but nothing was left on our plate.

It certainly lived up to expectations in every way.

Great price, the booking was faultless, Le Manoir was fantastic. We are going to book again later this year.

The experience itself was fabulous. Although I had called twice a few days prior to the event to inform them I was vegetarian and they were unaware of this when I went for dinner. However it was not a problem and the restaurant were wonderful about it.
