Diggerland itself is an amazing place, the dumper truck racing is very well organised and such good fun for all involved. I have not laughed so much in such a long time but watching people get lost or just going wrong was such fun. Being in the machines is also a quality experience, whether your male or female you are sure to enjoy the thrill and craziness of the mini pocket rockets.

Had a great time, really enjoyable, so much so I want to do it again!!

When you turn up and see these huge JCBs around you, you start to think 'cool'. Then you see the little dumper truck you'll race, and at first you think - 'oh they're small'. However, once you get in and realise it's not so simple to 'drive' you are relieved you're not in something that could wipe out the small crowd around you! There were three races. A simple race for speed, some slalom, and then even more slalom. Was it hard? At first yes. Did I get a grip on it? Eventually yes. Did I enjoy it all? Hell yes! I put it up there as one of my best 'experiences' that I've been on over the years. I guess the best way to sum this up is that I want to go back for more!

Boys with big toys! It's a must for everyone, male or female, the fun I had driving was equalled by the fun I had as a spectator watching all the other participants.

The venue, Diggerland in Castleford, was well organised with welcoming staff. And aside from the racing itself, the park looked like it would make a fun day out for a family with young children. As for the racing, the friendly marshalls explained the controls and the rules of the races clearly. The trucks were great fun to drive and, although a little tricky at first, easy to get used to quickly. Would definitely give it a go again in the future.

Amazing night out. I had a night to remember, completely relaxed, everybody mixed really well helped by the staff who were so up for it.

I got dumper truck racing for the men in my family for christmas and each one has said how great it was! The people at diggerland made the experiance so much fun with their easy going attitude, this was fun from start to finish, we took our small children who enjoyed watching the racing and playing on the diggers. The races were three rounds with the final one in reverse (the funniest one). The final head to head was brilliant, the top five scorers of the day took place in a showdown race. Watching the guys try to drive the diggers and compete against each other was one of the most funniest things I have seen in ages. My brother in law came in third place and won a certificate (which he is very proud of). This is a day for families, mates or any gang of people. Loved it, we are already arranging another trip to dumper truck racing and the JCB experience too. (My husband can't stand to lose haha) this was a great day all round and is fantastic value for money, wouldn't change a thing!

What a fantastic experience, was a great evening that whizzed by, the guys running were very friendly and looked after us really well!! And I got the most points in the group, came second in the final, very happy!! Definitely gonna do it again!!!

The cheerful and enthusiastic crew at Diggerland made for a fantastic day and gave me a new respect for those who drive loaders and operate diggers for a living. Many thanks for an outstanding experience.

Absolutely loved the day. Instructors were great, kept everyone involved and were fun to be with. This is something that everyone should experience at least once and I was lucky enough to win. Keep a cool head and a steady hand and you could be a winner too.

2.4hrs flew by... just like me in the dumper trucks! A pleasure and a joy!

Although I was expecting a really good, fun evening, this exceeded my expectations! I had a great night, loved every minute of it.

Not as easy as it looks to control these dumper trucks! Dodging traffic cones in the mud while you try to control a big wheeled vechicle with 2 levers though is an experience worth having. Highly suggest getting a group of mates together for the banter and bragging rights.

The level of customer service, attention to detail and pure enthusiasm of the staff at Diggerland makes every other 'theme park' look like a call centre. From the second you arrive, nothing was too much hassle, everything was light hearted and fun. The dumper truck racing was an experience like no other (and my goodness I was embarrassingly bad) but it was still enjoyable. Tip: If it's the one thing you do, get some food for after the race from the dig-Inn.

Had a tremendous evening at Diggerland Durham - all the staff were really friendly and made the evening even better. The digger racing was awesome!

Great fun from start to finish. Transport to the field was provided by a specially converted JCB with a huge seating platform on the front. This was like a funfair ride. Then, driving the dumper trucks was really exciting. Once I had mastered going forwards and turning we were told we had to race backwards!

After much trepidation and exhilaration my first 'run' ended with my dumper embedded in the grass bank. My second run however was much better and I felt more in control. My third run went completely 'pear shaped' after hitting the fence very hard (twice) and needless to say I was not the winner on the day. As they say, it's taking part that is important and I had a great time. Sorry about the fence guys!!!!!

Excellent fun driving the dumper/diggers, if a little difficult to get used to at the start! Staff were great.

Was expecting an actual dumper truck with a steering wheel but the lever operated ones we used were far more demanding and a lot more fun!

The Dumper Truck Racing was great fun for both participants and spectators. A must for all big boys and girls who like their toys! Ideal for families, friends or corporate events. A brilliant, fun, fantastic time.

Very good fun ... well organised ... pity you did not get a chance to practice before you raced.
