Once you've driven a Ferrari, no other car comes close. Experience the phenomenal acceleration, braking and handling of one of Maranello's most breathtaking driving machines - the F360. This stunning car has 400bhp, a top speed of 183mph, and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds. You'll kick off with some training laps with your instructor driving, so that you can learn the racing lines and see circuit driving techniques in action. Then you'll have a briefing on safety and circuit driving techniques, before you drive the Ferrari F360 for seven miles. Once you've got your breath back, you'll drive a Mini Cooper for eight more miles, before going solo in a Formula Ford single-seater racing car for eight miles (not as pretty as the Ferrari, but much faster). You'll finish with a three mile high-speed passenger ride with a pro driver (usually in an MG saloon). You'll also receive a certificate to take home.

An Experience I'll Never Forget

This was the experience of a lifetime and one that my family had bought for my 60th birthday earlier this year. I had a brilliant time, the instructors and staff at Donington Park were wonderful, they made me and my family very welcome and ensured that we all had a great time. The drive in the Ferrari F360 was as thrilling as I expected and something I'll never forget. But the ride in the single seat F4 racing car was so exciting, I felt like a racing driver for the day! I can recommend this experience to anyone as it is one that I will repeat, even if I buy it for myself! However I would like to thank my family for their wonderful present and buying me something that they knew I would enjoy.

Something Every Speed Enthusiast Should Experience

A tremendous chance to experience driving 3 very different vehicles.The instructors were patient and concise and despite some of the inevitable risk factor, one never felt in danger. This type of experience is something that has to be felt and cannot really be put into words. The sheer pleasure of drifting through corners at high speed whilst feeling totally in control can only be put down to the skill of the guys running the courses. Something every speed enthusiast should experience, as the vehicles get faster the experience increases!!

An Exceptionally Well Organised, Thrilling Day

Tthis was a very professional day which really makes you feel like a racing driver, you get very well looked after and the instructors are very helpful and help to put you at ease with the car, a fantastic day that would ensure a grin on anyone's face!

Participant Guidelines: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5'0'', maximum 6'4''. You must have held a full, current and valid British or international manual driving licence for at least 12 months; bring it with you on the day.

Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice, heavy rain or high winds, when driving at speed might become dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.

Duration: Your experience will last for approximately three to four hours, including briefing, approximately 40 minutes driving time and debrief. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start.

Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to thirty people.

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and there are cafe/clubhouse facilities on site. A camera will come in handy. Please note that animals aren't allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs.

Dress Code: Dress comfortably (e.g. jeans and sweatshirt) and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided, but you're welcome to bring you own.

Availability: Selected Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, plus very occasional weekend dates. Dates fill very quickly, so book at least six weeks in advance.

Other Info: The organiser was established in 1978 and is a founder member of The Association of Racing Drivers' Schools. All instructors are ARDS qualified.
