Once you've driven a Ferrari, no other car comes close. Experience the phenomenal acceleration, braking and handling of one of Maranello's most breathtaking driving machines - the F360. This stunning car has 400bhp, a top speed of 183mph, and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds. You'll kick off with some training laps on the circuit with your instructor driving, so that you can learn the racing lines and see circuit driving techniques in action. Then you'll have a briefing on safety and circuit driving techniques, before you drive the Ferrari F360 for six miles. Once you've got your breath back, you'll go solo in a single-seater racing car round the 1.5 mile Banked Oval at speeds of up to 145 mph. You'll drive for up to 25 miles (approximately 16 laps) over 20 minutes, then finish with a three mile high-speed passenger ride with a pro driver (usually in a Lotus Elise). End with a debrief and question and answer session, and take home a certificate.

Thoroughly Worthwhile Day

The set-up from start to finish went very well. The whole process from discussing options with the telephone staff to booking the experience was seamless. Received my confirmation straightaway and provided all the information needed. The arrangements once we arrived at the track were slick and the day went without a hitch. I was a little sceptical it would be as good as expected, but would certainly recommend as a gift for someone else or a treat for yourself. The one thing I would recommend is not to go to watch or support someone else, as you will really want to join in yourself!

Participant Guidelines: Minimum age is 18. Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5'0'', maximum 6'4''. You must have held a full, current and valid British or international manual driving licence for at least 12 months; bring it with you on the day.

Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like ice, heavy rain or high winds, when driving at speed might become dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.

Duration: Your experience will last for approximately two hours, including briefing, approximately 30 - 40 minutes driving time and debrief. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start.

Numbers On Day: All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to thirty people.

Spectators: Friends and family are welcome as there are excellent spectating and catering facilities on site. A camera will come in handy. Please note that animals aren't allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs.

Dress Code: Dress comfortably (e.g. jeans and sweatshirt) and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided, but you're welcome to bring you own.

Availability: Around one Saturday per month throughout the year. Dates fill very quickly, so book at least six weeks in advance.

Other Info: The race circuit is MSA (Motor Sports Association) approved for quality and safety. The organiser was established in 1978 and is a founder member of The Association of Racing Drivers' Schools and all instructors here are ARDS qualified.
