Red Letter Days, the UK's leading experiences company, held its second annual Challenge Cup on 18th June with a day of quirky and traditional English countryside pursuits in the beautiful surroundings of Oakley Court in Windsor.
Red Letter Days' clients and partners were invited to take part in a fast paced, competitive day of activities including wellie wanging and ferret racing skills, reverse tractor steering and duck herding, gun dog trials, falconry and longbow archery, amongst others. Competing teams were, Mars Snackfoods, House of Fraser, affilinet Ltd, Affiliate Window and last year's winners - Punch Taverns. The competition concluded with a nail biting river regatta of rowing boats, canoeing and dragon boat racing, with affilinet Ltd claiming top the prize. All guests were then invited to enjoy an evening BBQ in the glorious venue gardens on the Thames.
Joshua James, Publisher Services Director at affilinet Ltd said: "Red Letter Days' Challenge Cup proved to be a fantastic day out. Not only did we get to experience a vast array of activities that we'd otherwise never have the opportunity to but, perhaps more importantly, the day gave us a greater insight into Red Letter Days, their staff, their values and a taste of the type of products they offer. We were, of course, delighted to pip our rivals to victory and the Challenge Cup trophy will take pride of place at affilinet’s London office for the next year as we look forward to defending our title in 2010."
Heather Rogers, Director of Corporate Sales at Red Letter Days said: "It was another fantastic event and enjoyed by all. The teams were incredibly impressive and it was such a close finish. Looking to next year, we aim to organise something even bigger and better."
