With another Harry Potter movie set to cast its spell over us once again, it's time to let a little extra magic into our lives. At a secret location close to Euston station, lies The Magic Circle Headquarters, London's most magical venue where the world's finest magicians, mind readers and illusionists meet regularly to share the secrets of their fascinating world of magic and illusion. Rarely open to the public, experiences gift company Red Letter Days is now inviting Hogwarts enthusiasts and lovers of magic alike (10 years and up) to enter this mysterious world for 2 magical events on September 26th.
An Afternoon Wizard's Workshop, £59pp
Guests are welcomed by Magic Circle magicians who'll explain the power of magic when it's performed properly. Everyone must sign a Secrecy Agreement promising not to disclose the secrets that will be revealed. In small groups, guests receive some expert tuition from the experts themselves and over the course of the afternoon they'll learn a series of tricks including some sleight of hand and mind reading, plus the all important showmanship skills to wow your friends and family. There's also a chance to explore The Magic Circle Museum and discover thousands of priceless treasures from the history of mystery. Guests receive some tricks and souvenirs to take home and a certificate of participation. A magic seal of approval like no other, outside of Hogwarts of course!
An Evening of Pure Magic, £49pp
Guests are welcomed by Magic Circle magicians to witness some amazing sleight of hand entertainment. Next enjoy an exclusive tour of The Magic Circle Museum and discover thousands of priceless treasures from the history of mystery. The Magic Circle Headquarters houses the largest magic collection in Europe including the handcuffs used by Houdini himself and the very props used by Prince Charles to become a member of The Inner Magic Circle. Then guests take their seats in The Magic Circle Theatre for a full theatre show to witness some of the world's finest magic and illusions from top Magic Circle magicians.
