The Brief:
Yell.com was looking to introduce a new long service award scheme. Prior to the
introduction of the Red Letter Days offering in May 2008 employees celebrating long
service milestones where taken out for lunch or were given a suitable reward at
the discretion of their manger.
The Goal:
Yell.com wanted to provide their employees with an award scheme that had a personal
touch as well as an extensive range of products, to cater for the diverse demographic
of their employees. It was also key that there were suitable options to reflect
the various different milestones.
What We Did:
The Red Letter Days team devised a system that focused on providing each recipient
with the opportunity to choose an experience or gift which was right for them. Each
recipient is presented with a personalised Yell.com branded pack. Each pack contains
a voucher which has a value appropriate to the milestone they are celebrating and
delivered directly to the home of the employee. The system allows them to enjoy
a seamless booking and redemption journey.
