On arrival I was enthusiastically greeted and made feel welcome. The administration was quickly explained and completed and we were briefed on what to expect. The Driving Instructor who brought us through was very helpful and friendly in his explanation of what to expect and HASAW. The car was awsome. Steve who was my in car instructor was really excellent, he made me feel at ease and confident immediately. His easy reassured manner but skilful professionalism made the event thoroughly enjoyable and thrilling. My wife and daughter were made welcome and enjoyed their briefing and the thrill of watching me on a race course. It was great to be able to drive at speeds not normally permissable, confident that I had an excellent expert driver sat next to me. I just hope i didnt scare him too much. Many thanks to all the team expecially to Steve. It was a thoroughly memorable day.

    Fabulous Day

This was given to my boyfriend for his birthday who loves V8 supercars. He's finally got to drive one of them. Finished his laps with a big smile on his face, then bought a passenger ride in the V8 supercar, to see how fast it really can go. Fab day

    A Day To Remember

A superb day designed to cater for all abilities, from the basic mini blasts all the way up to the snorting V8 touring cars, the experience I had. Blasting around the track in a V8 muscle racer is my idea of heaven, over taking all those Ferraris and Aston Martins was pretty good too! This was my first time doing a driving day, all the staff were extremely helpful and managed to get the best out of the day for me, thank you all the staff of Rockingham Motor Speedway!

    Great Experience

To drive this car is something else, the instructor was very helpful with showing the best lines to take on the track. Oh and the noise from the 6 litre V8 Chevi was far better than that made by the Ferrari's and the Lamborgini. Only disappointment was that the stupid photographer only wanted to photograph the Ferrari's, Astons & Lamborgini. So when we went to collect/buy our photo's yes you have guessed (WHAT PHOTOS!!) You best be sure to advise them that you are also there on the day.

My trip to Rockingham for this experience was absolutely thrilling. The organisation is first rate, everything proceeded very smoothly and nobody is left standing around waiting with nothing to do. Briefings, an experience lap, plenty to watch, it all flows very well. The climax is of course driving the beast. I had a slight delay because the young chap who went out before me had the misfortune of the gearbox deciding to see what it would look like spread out over the track(!) but in a very few minutes another same-spec car was prepared and ready. The instructors are just superb and it is an incredible achievement to be able, within the space of 6 laps, to give a complete racing novice the utter thrill of taking a corner flat out so that the car clips the kerb on the apex and then drifts across to clip the kerb on the exit BECAUSE IT HAS TO. How they manage to sit as a passenger in a car that is straining to get on to the grass like that and call for MORE POWER is beyond me! Fantastic!

    Overwhelmed By The Power

Very well organised and the instructor was superb. But the best bit of the experience was the car, a real drivers car. Great buzz!

I was bought this V8 touring car experience for my 30th birthday by a friend. The staff on arrival at Rockingham were very friendly and it was a very well organised day. The safety briefings were very thorough and i've just about recovered from parading across the pit garage wearing a blue shower cap! On my first lap the car run out of petrol but after refuelling i went back out for two further laps. All in all a good day out.

    An Absolute Beast

The briefing was comprehensive without being overload. The sighting laps in a mini driven by the instructor covered the lines and some advice so that when you got in your chosen car you could just get on with it. The V8 Monaro is an absolute beast, a true racing car. The sound when you start the engine is amazing. On track my instructor, Dennis, pushed me and shouted things like 'now floor it' and 'don't brake'. Just what I wanted to hear whilst at all times safe and in control. Fantastic!

    An Absolutely Magnificent Day

A wonderful day, I was made to feel so welcome by the staff at the welcome centre. Driver briefing was clear and very informative. My instructor 'Skippy' was a great guy. On the track I felt at ease with Skippy who was really keen that in the limited time i had on the circuit he'd get me going faster and faster. With his encouragement I managed to increase my speed and improve my positioning on the track with each passing lap. I was genuinely sorry to have to pull into the pits at the end of my session. I will re-book for another V8 supercar ride and hopefully Skippy is on hand when I'm there. All in all the best motoring experience I've ever done. After driving the V8 supercar really not sure that a Ferrari or Aston Martin will give me quite the same buzz.

Gave My Husband The Biggest Smile I've Ever Seen !

Well organised day. Friendly staff. My husband who is quite a confident driver and is more than a little bit full of himself when it comes to his driving skills was put to the test on the track. The sheer power of the V8 gave him a bit of a fright and he can't wait to go again. He said the instructor was excellent and he had a great time !! Will definitely go back. I also booked myself in for a high speed passenger ride (which you can do on the day) in a stock car which went at 240mph around the oval track, what a buzz !!! Definitely recommended. Friends and family can accompany the drivers down to the track and can get up close to all the supercars being used that day. You can stand right at the edge of the track to get a great view and some memorable pics.

I found the whole experience from start to finish to be not just thrilling, fun, exciting and memorable. It was also a very unique learning curve for me. I already drive a powerful car and considered myself 'in the know' but having that experienced driver next to you, friendly and approachable, made me feel I could talk freely and ask questions. I learnt a lot on the day about safe fast driving. Reaction times and how to control a car when on the jittery edge. Even though the weather was bad, I was not discouraged as I thought I would be to put my foot down on the straights. As told in the briefing the key is to gain the confidence of the instructor. Once I had that done HE was telling me to push it harder. I will definitely be back for more.

    Absolutely Breathtakingly Brilliant

A fantastic 50th birthday present from my family. The service and hospitality that were provided by the team at Rockingham was first class. The safety briefing and in-car tuition were also excellent and helped make the day thoroughly unforgettable. I would with total confidence recommend the day to anyone - I already have!!

I must say what a fantastic experience. Driving a Race spec Monaro touring car around Rockingham race circuit at race speeds was as it states an absolute thrill. I took the car to its limits on a few corners and had a few hairy moments. When I had finished I received some great feedback from my instructor and thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Definitely worth doing again. If I had the money I'd be there every day!

First Track Experience, definitely Not My Last ...

The Monaros are just as quick as the Ferraris and Lamborghinis if not quicker, after all I overtook a lot of them! One thing to bear in mind is that the Monaros are left hand drive.
