  • About

This is the triathlon of massive vehicles. After your briefing, you'll start off at the wheel of a hi-view jeep to warm up, before taking a British-spec monster truck over some tough, purpose-built terrain. You'll also get to experience a deliberate sideways roll-over in a 4x4 buggy. Then it's the bit you've been waiting for - you'll need a stepladder to get into the cab of the full-spec, 66-inch terra-tyred American monster truck. When you're ready, you'll drive this amazing vehicle over the top of two saloon cars (they'll be well and truly wrecked). Steering this 7.5 litre truck on a mission of destruction is a pure adrenaline rush.

  • Key Info

    Availability

At least one weekend date per month throughout the year excluding January (during which time the venue closes).

    Participant Guidelines

Minimum age is 18. You don't need a driving licence to take part, but you've got to be a confident driver and familiar with manual car driving controls.

    Weather

Driving may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions which would make it dangerous. Please call the venue if in doubt. Don't worry if it's raining - these are all-terrain vehicles and a bit of mud and water can make this experience more exhilarating.

    Duration

This experience lasts for around two and a half hours including briefing, tuition, driving in all the vehicles and debrief. You'll be in the American Monster for approximately 10 minutes.

    Numbers On Day

Between 15 and 20 people will be taking part, with a maximum of three participants sharing a vehicle and instructor at any time.

    Spectators

You can bring up to two spectators. Please note that there are no indoor viewing areas - spectators follow the event from course to course and some areas aren't visible. The site is not suitable for young children.

    Dress Code

Dress for an outdoor experience on uneven, hilly terrain and bring suitable footwear (hiking boots are ideal) and a camera.

    Other Info

Alcohol or contra-indicated drugs must not be consumed before or during this experience. In the unlikely event of mechanical breakdown, an alternative vehicle will be supplied on the day.

Me, my Mum and my sister all had a great day. The driving I did was brilliant, especially the off-roading (the best bit). I was given excellent instruction and encouragement, even after I successfully managed to take down a tree! Everyone who was there to help out did an amazing job and each individual made the experience that much better. I enjoyed every minute of it, even though it was pouring with rain. All the people who run these activities are brilliant at their jobs and make the day so much fun. An unforgettable experience. Thanks.

Great Day. Once In A Lifetime Experience
