Booking was easy. Ticket collection was very straight-forward and well organised. River cruise was very enjoyable with an entertaining commentary. We hardly queued for the Eye. The actual Eye experience was extremely interesting. One tip: start the day early to get the most out of your Red Letter Day.
An excellent tour of the river, taking in more than you could possibly see on foot, by road, or underground in two days. The boat trip lasts 3 hours from start to finish (though you can jump on and off and use it as your own personal taxi). And of course the London eye gives further excellent views. The best thing is that after all of this you still have time to visit some other London attractions before the night sets in. Ticket collection was simple and easy, and I would definitely do this again!

Great Memories Of My First Time In London
Everything about my trip was superb from start to finish. The lady I spoke to when booking my experience was very helpful and all details were very clear. The boat trip was excellent and The London Eye was amazing, the highlight of my trip, what a fantastic view of London!
We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The boat trips were great with a very interesting and amusing commentary, we found out lots we didn't know! The Eye is a great experience, the views are amazing and we didn't have to queue for long. As a bonus the weather was glorious which we didn't expect for the end of September.
Special Day For My Nan Who Is Ninety
Very good day for all - it was a special treat for my nan who is 90 years old and lived in London many years ago. The boat trip was great and it meant she could see most of London without too much walking. Staff on the London Eye were very good when I explained that she could not stand in a long queue, they allowed her direct access to the Eye and even stopped it so she could get on and off easily. My nan loved it and got very emotional with the whole experience. It was worth every penny to see her face light up.
The London Eye was a revelation in itself, however the river cruise and in particular the knowledgeable commentary delivered with an easy humour that was provided by the young crew member made what could have been quite a boring trip into an experience of discovery. He brought to life many aspects of the life of the river.
Really Great Day, All Went Very Smoothly.
The instructions that we had on the letter emailed to us were very clear and helped a lot. Everything was there waiting for us when we got to the ticket office and we had the rest of the day to do it all at our leisure. The cruises were fantastic and very interesting and the London Eye was amazing, especially when you've just learnt a lot from the commentary on the boat. Would recommend it as a good day out for any age. We also got a text the day before from Red Letter Days to say have a nice time, which I thought was going that extra mile.
The cruise and London eye experience were excellent. We had a memorable weekend because we combined this with another Red Letter Days experience, a Theatre break. We were lucky with the weather and could not fault the experience.
Thanks For A Great Day Out
My mum and I enjoyed a trip to London which was a Mother's Day gift. It was an excellent day out on the Thames Cruiser and London Eye and we can really recommend it. The Thames Cruiser was fantastic as you can board as many times as you like and the crew on board are very informative and very funny. London Eye was a great experience. Can really recommend this day out!

How To Get Away From It All!
Temperatures of 33 degrees (British heatwave!) made the Thames Cruise even more of a bonus. After a inspiring flight on the Eye we proceeded to roam the Thames on the boats. An excellent commentary by a crew member on the Millennium of Peace gave an insight to those parts of the riverbank you wouldn't normally look at twice - very well done. The boats allowed us to get to Greenwich, an area not often visited when in London. We even managed to walk under the Thames (and back) through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. On the way back, the Tower Bridge opened for us (actually for a tall ship!). All together a lovely day and just that bit different to foot slogging around the sights which involves master planning with the Tube or taxis! I have arthritis which makes lots of walking very tiring, so using the boats avoided all that.
It Was A Superb Day For All Involved
I purchased the Red Letter Days Thames Sightseeing Cruise and London Eye experience for a party of 10. The Red Letter Days team were extremely helpful and went out of their way to get me the experience I wanted on the day I wanted. The weather was perfect, the sightseeing cruise was amazing and the London Eye is well worth a visit. Thank you so much Red Letter Days Team for giving me and my friends a fantastic weekend in London!!
Great Sense Of Humour, Great Entertainment
This was one of the best things to do in London, we really really enjoyed it! We learnt about the history, interesting facts we will never forget. The guide's great sense of humour went a long way and made it that more special for our trip! Thank you so much and keep up the great work!
My colleagues treated me to the experience and I invited my sister to come along. The day we chose was fabulous and warm and getting into London was easy, by car to Stanmore and then the tube to Westminster. The commentary on the cruise was both humorous and informative and we both learnt a great deal. At Greenwich we found a delightful museum of Fans as well as all the naval history. The experience on the Eye was amazing and super photos were taken. The whole day was a great success and I can certainly recommend it as a lovely present.
A Very Enjoyable Day With Good Organisation
We were fortunate with the weather, which enabled us to take in all the magnificent buildings and learning about the history of the Thames. The London Eye gave us a stunning panorama of London and beyond.
A Really Wonderful Experience
It was fabulous to get the two contrasting views of London; the first from sea level and the second from way above the clouds. The river cruise was great; they supplied an informed commentary which helped enormously. We stopped off at Greenwich, which I would thoroughly recommend for its sights, its diversity of eating places and its general ambience. Then we went back up river for our trip on the London Eye. We had a nice clear day and you could see for miles, literally. All in all, it was a fabulous experience that we will treasure and remember for a long long time.
A Fantastic And Perfectly Organised Weekend
I spent the weekend with my wife in London. We had dinner then went to see 'We Will Rock You' on the Friday evening. Perfect. Saturday was spent on the Thames Cruise to Greenwich, rounded off with a trip on the London Eye. The whole Red Letter experience was just perfect. Thanks to all the staff who dealt with our enquiries and this just added to the whole experience.
Exciting Day Out, Not To Be Forgotten
From the moment we arrived at the London Eye we were made very welcome by all the staff. They so wanted us to enjoy our day and they answered all our questions etc so well. The experience of viewing London from the London Eye was spectacular and I would recommend to everybody to share the view of London from such a unique position. The River Trip down to Greenwich was excellent and although we have done this on numerous occasions we found new points of interest and reference. The boat was clean and tidy and the crew made everybody welcome. The commentary was excellent and some of the comments made were very funny. A sincere thank you to everybody concerned who made it a special Red Letter Day.
Very well organised, we had a brilliant day. The boat cruise was very good and we saw and learnt a lot. The London Eye was amazing with beautiful views. The perfect day in London!
Perfect Father's Day Gift
A gift from our daughter to me which enabled me to share a wonderful day with my wife where there was no stress because everything was taken care of by the Red Letter Days.
A View To Remember Forever!
We started off with the cruise, it was managed very efficiently and the staff were welcoming, friendly and the commentary was both informative and highly amusing. The London Eye - breathtaking! An excellent present - definitely highly recommended!
Made A Great Weekend Even Better
Breathtaking views of London from the Eye. Gave a brilliant perspective of the famous landmarks. The river cruise was also well worth it with excellent commentary. We had an excellent weekend and this Red Letter Days experience played a big part in making it a very memorable time.
This was one of those rare days when everything went perfectly. The train was on time, the weather was beautiful, the boats were on time and very comfortable and we didn't have to wait too long to get on the London Eye. With no worries about booking anything, we just had to enjoy ourselves and decide what and where to eat. A great day - I would recommend it to everyone.
