WHAT A PERFECT DAY, which started from the moment we were shown to our seats with a free glass of wine and bottle of table water. The boat is new and modern and offered a superb view. The meal was hot and tasty and the staff were excellent. On two occasions my wife was asked about her nut allergy! A good test of the facilities is always the state of the toilets and again they were faultless - clean and modern. You are disembarked at the London Eye pier, joining the main queue, which is about a 30 min wait. For me the day was as perfect as it could have been and I would recommend this trip as a perfect way to enjoy lunch and see parts of London you wouldn't normally see. Definitely a 10 out of 10. I certainly buy a Red Letter Day and suggest they go on this trip as it went way above my expectations.

What An Amazing Experience!
As the song goes 'Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner that I love London Town' and they were exactly my words yesterday after my Red Letter Day experience. The meal was superb (I had the veggie option and that was very good) and we were told about the history of some of the important London landmarks as we travelled past them. Then we were taken on the boat across to the Eye. I must admit I wasn't exactly looking forward to this as I hate heights, but the minute we started moving all my fears went out of the window as the sights of Dear Old London Town were absolutely breathtaking. I did become very emotional and proud as we had a Pod full of New Yorkers and it was so exciting to be able to point out places of interest and hear them gushing over what a beautiful and wonderful City we have and how lucky we were to have all this history around us.
From the moment we began the booking process until we disembarked beside the magnificent London Eye, Red Letter Days and everyone else involved have been really attentive, helping us to get the most out of this once in a lifetime experience. It was a fitting celebration of our 30th Wedding Anniversary, chosen for us by our three beautiful children. This was a day that we will remember always for all the right reasons. Friendly and helpful staff, a delicious meal which although taken with 200 other people somehow managed to remain a personal, almost private affair. The fast moving queue for the London Eye soon propelled us into our pod from where the views were spectacular. What fun, trying to work out where everything was. The smooth ride gave no sense of movement and in a way made our journey round the great wheel seem timeless. Taking time to build memories is such an important thing to do, and our Red Letter Day enabled us to create some very special memories. Thank you.
An Absolutely Brilliant Day Out!
We had a brilliant time, it was so well organised, the confirmation letter explained everything we needed to know and all went as smooth as clockwork.
I couldn't believe just how much there was to see along the river and the voiceover was informative and easy to listen to. The views from the Eye were exceptional, the flight was smooth and comfortable. I was also impressed with the security and cleanliness, each pod was sanitised and inspected with mirrors before you got on board, it was so reassuring. Thank you
The Best First Wedding Anniversary Present Ever!
My wife's parents gave us our Red Letter Days experience as an Anniversary Present, and it will certainly be an Anniversary to remember! The Thames Lunch Cruise was fabulous, we were situated at the back of the boat and had a 3 course lunch with an all inclusive glass of wine and water, the food was out of this world!! Then the boat took us across the Thames to the London Eye, which although we had to queue, was well worth the wait. The views were breathtaking, you could even have you photo taken whilst inside the pod before the end of the flight. We will both be highly recommending this excursion to friends and family.
This was a superb day to remember and I was particularly impressed as I need a gluten free diet and this was provided for me - well done!
Wonderful Day For My 50Th Birthday
On arrival at the Bateaux London Reception we were looked after in the most professional manner. Boarding, seating and waitress service were all first class - and the food - wow! Superbly informative cruise in the most exquisite surroundings made this a most enjoyable experience, topped off by a breathtaking trip on the London Eye. Certainly a day to remember - Thank You.
Fantastic Wedding Present
My husband and I were bought this Red Letter Day as a present for our wedding by our lovely bridesmaid. We decided to use this lovely experience for our 1st wedding anniversary. We had such a wonderful day, the food was amazing, the sights were breathtaking and the London Eye finished the day off perfectly. The staff were amazing on the Thames Lunch Cruise, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anybody looking for a day out to do this trip and it made a superb wedding present too.

Absolutely smooth running, barely had to do a thing. Delicious meal on a beautiful boat, lovely long time to take in the atmosphere as well as enjoying every mouthful of the tasty food. Very quick to get on the London Eye as we didn't have to queue for tickets and it was a wonderful experience. Would recommend it to anyone up for a relaxing day out!
The whole experience was just great from the smooth booking of our day, to the exquisite food in such relaxing surroundings, to the trip on the Eye; it could not have been better!! The staff on the boat were exemplary; considering the number of people being catered for, nothing was rushed.
A Wonderful Way To See The Capital
From the moment we boarded, we were blown away by the food and service. The views were wonderful from the boat, and the commentary was very informative. Would most certainly recommend to anyone for a great day out!!
The 3 course meal was second to none. My wife had the vegetarian option and was delighted the staff were aware of her dietary needs, nothing was too much trouble. At the start and towards the end of our meal, we were given relevant commentary for the attractions along the Thames, this was interesting but not overbearing. Then on to the London Eye (with a very short queue) to enjoy the sights in an uncrowded, airconditioned 'pod'. London Eye staff were courteous, yet efficient, making sure we all safely embarked and disembarked. Wow! What a BRILLIANT experience for us. Our experience was a gift, booked on internet no problem. We would certainly treat ourselves again. Thank you!
A Great Day That Went Like 'Clockwork'
Each part of arranging this experience was efficiently handled by your staff who by email and phone gave us confidence that all would go well. On the day this proved to be the case. We enjoyed a good meal with attentive service and the cruise with a helpful commentary. We then made our way to the London Eye and again were promptly processed for that great experience. Lovely weather obviously helped but the whole day was wonderful thanks to Red Letter Days' efficient arrangements. We left the Isle of Wight at 08.45 and returned by 18.30 hrs. A wonderful day thanks to Red Letter Days.
A Very Special Day With Memories To Cherish
From booking the experience right through to actually dining on board the London Bateau and flying on the London Eye we were impressed with every aspect of the service you provided. Purchasing the experience and booking were quick and easy procedures. The service from the moment we boarded the boat could not be faulted which all added to the enjoyment of the occasion. The trip on the Thames gave us a wonderful opportunity to view London from the river whilst at the same time enjoying a beautifully served lunch with a glass of wine. The trip on the London Eye was again a tremendous experience and gave us a completely different view of the city. We were bought this as a Wedding Anniversary present. It was a well arranged and fantastic day out for us, we got to see the sights of London as well as enjoying a romantic meal and time together. I am glad we chose to do this event, as the food was fantastic on the cruise and then going on the London Eye after finished the day nicely.
We linked two Red Letter Days to have Dinner and Theatre one day and then Thames Lunch Cruise and London Eye on the next. Both events were absolutely great both in quality and content. We were able to add on the British Museum before dinner and then the National Gallery after the London Eye. The sort of break you remember for a long time.
Absolutely Great Day Out, Well Worth The Money
My sister and I decided to arrange an experience day for our mother's 80th birthday. What a day we had! The food was really very good, as was the service on the boat. The views from the London Eye was breathtaking even on a cloudy day. I don't like heights but on the London Eye you don't think of things like that because you are taking the scenery in. Well worth the money!!!
I wanted to treat my girlfriend to a birthday suprise and I picked a great choice with the Thames Lunch Cruise and London Eye. The food on board was delicious, the staff were friendly and very professional and the views were spectacular. After a lovely, relaxing cruise, we boarded the London Eye for our half hour 'flight'. Being a bit of a wimp with heights I was dubious, but once we got going the breathtaking views and serene atmosphere made my fear dissipate. I would definitely suggest this experience to anybody who is after an amazing day out with everything included in one stunning package.
An Excellent Day We Both Thoroughly Enjoyed
This was my Valentine's gift to my partner and the trip down the Thames was awesome. The lunch that was served was delicious and our waiter was very good and took particular care of us. Most definitely a memory we shall not forget. Our flight on the London Eye finished our experience off perfectly.

What A Great Way To See London!
I sent my parents on this tour of the Eye and Thames Cruise. They absolutely loved it and enjoyed the history presented during their lunch (free wine included) and the views from the Eye. The best part was upon their arrival they were greeted by name and also given access to their Eye tickets, thus cutting the ticket queue. What a great gift and a wonderful experience to view London.
Pure Relaxation And Enjoyment
A friend had recommended this experience to us so we decided to book it as a birthday treat and it certainly lived up to expectations. From the moment we checked in for our cruise we felt totally relaxed. The meal was very pleasant and well presented; the commentary as we travelled along the river was interesting without being intrusive. The views from the Eye were, as ever, amazing. Even the weather was beautiful - not something we can rely on in England in November!
My partner and I had a lovely lunch while seeing breathtaking views, then we were dropped off a few steps from the London Eye. I could not believe the lovely views on the London Wye and then to my suprise, my partner popped the question at the top of the London Eye! It was a day I will never forget. A Brilliant Fiftieth Birthday Surprise Experience
My sister sent me my Red Letter Day experience as a surprise present for my 50th birthday. My husband shared the day with me and it was a truly wonderful experience for both of us. The food was top class as was the service on board the Symphony. The queue for the Eye moved very quickly and the experience of rising above London on a beautiful clear day just made everything so special.
Lunch Cruise really fine. Excellent food, wine, service and a lively commentary on the London riverside. We enjoyed it so much that we held on to our London Eye tickets (valid right through 'til March 2009) as an excuse to have another day in London soon. We sauntered off to Covent Garden to see the street performers, the famous actors' church and a few well chosen Regent Street shops. A great Red Letter Day (and another to come soon).
Totally Enjoyable And Stress Free
We had good directions to the location. The reception staff were very friendly as well as efficient. The boat trip was interesting. The food and wine and service on the boat were excellent. The London Eye was sensational. Best of all, this wonderful trip was all arranged for us so it was totally enjoyable and stress free.

The cruise was great, staff were excellent, food we were served was fantastic (Mrs et moi are vegetarian and I don't eat cheese so awkward swines to feed). Sadly the queue for the London Eye could be seen from the moon so we didn't have time to wait but will go back later this year (we have til Apr 09 to use the tickets).
Really impressed with the meal and the standard of service. Very helpful and attentive staff made it a wonderful day to remember! Cannot fault you on anything!

Something I've Always Wanted To Do
Viewing history past and present - The Tower of London and the Gherkin - from the comfort of the boat with mouth watering cuisine was an unforgettable experience. Then the trip on the London Eye, something I have always wanted to do. The views were outstanding and the flight so smooth. Whenever I watch The Andrew Marr show on Sunday morning with the backdrop of the river Thames and the London Eye, I think Wow I have been there thanks to Red Letter Days.

A Great Day Out Enjoyed By Both Of Us
The staff were polite and friendly. The food was gorgeous! The views were lovely and the boat was clean and stylish, allowing clear views of London from wherever you sat. It was great how they dropped you off right outside the London Eye, there was hardly a queue and once on there we had a great time looking out over London. I would definitely recommend it.
