  • About

Board Bateaux London's river cruiser from the glass pontoon at Embankment Pier, then relax on board and enjoy a three-course lunch, followed by tea or coffee. But don't let the great food distract from the fabulous views available on Thames cruises, as the boat passes the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and many more iconic landmarks. After lunch (from a seasonally changing menu) be dropped off just a few steps from the EDF Energy London Eye. There may be a queue here, but it'll be worth it on climbing aboard the air-conditioned capsule. The Eye slowly turns, giving sensational panoramic views across London from 135 metres up. This experience is for two but is also available for one (BATTO).

    • Lunch (of British based cuisine) on board a stylish Thames river cruiser
    • Incredible views of riverside buildings and famous landmarks
    • See the Houses of Parliament, Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge and more
    • Then step aboard the EDF Energy London Eye for a bird's-eye view of London

Although it stated that we would be dropped off after the cruise by the London Eye, we were taken back to the Embankment Pier. However as both attractions were in easy walking distance to each other, a stroll after a very good 3 course meal was most welcome. By the time we got to the London Eye (about 3pm), we only queued for few minutes. All in all a Great Day. Thankyou.

This was a really lovely day out. We were lucky with the weather - a sunny clear day. The boat trip was very well organised, the lunch was delicious, and the tour commentary was interesting. Although the queue for the eye was enormous, it keeps moving and it didn't take long to board. The eye was spectacular! A fab day out!

This was a birthday treat for my wife and I from our son and daughter-in-law and we booked to go on our 31st wedding anniversary. The cruise was excellent with good food, wine, service and commentary giving the history of the sights we passed as we cruised. After the cruise we went on the London Eye what an experience. If only the weather had been better but we can do nothing about the british weather. Overall a great experience and a great day out in London.

I took my mother on the Thames lunch cruise and on the London eye for her birthday and it was amazing. The service was unbelievable and we were both made to feel very special. It was definitely worth it and an experience that was unforgettable. The views were amazing and the experience lasted for the whole day. Everything was already planned and the booking was quick and easy. If you want to treat someone this is definitely the best idea as it's truly unforgettable.

My husband and I really enjoyed the day. The views from the boat were great and the informative commentary made them even better. The food was lovely too. Adding the London Eye to the cruise was well worth it - we could see the crowds outside Buckingham Palace waiting for news of the new Prince.

The service, staff and food onboard the river cruise was all first rate and is highly recommended. Being a busy August Saturday, the queue for the London Eye was around 45 minutes, but the tickets can be fast tracked or we could have used at any date up to end of March next year.
