  • About

Discover your inner cowboy or cowgirl on this great trail ride in the New Forest, England's answer to the Wild West (more trees, not so many cacti). You'll be riding a beautiful Western Paint horse, western-style - this style of riding is easier to learn and feels more secure than riding English-style, so it's great even for beginners. And those cowboys had to spend all day in the saddle, so they made darn sure it was comfortable! The stresses of everyday life will drift away as you head off on a two-hour trail through beautiful countryside, led by experienced wranglers. Back at the ranch, enjoy a barbecue meal and plenty of hot coffee. Rawhide!

    • A two-hour trail ride in the New Forest
    • Easier to learn than English style - and much more comfortable!
    • Perfect for complete beginners and experienced riders
    • Includes a cowboy-style barbecue back at the ranch

This was a treat for my wife's 60th birthday last year (I got one for myself as well to join her) The trip was very well organised and we enjoyed the ride through the New Forest. The barbecue afterwards was delicious. My wife loves horses and you could see that they were well cared for. All in all an experience to remember.

    A Wonderful Day!

My sister and I had a wonderful time taking in the views while gentle pace of riding. Everyone at the riding school was very friendly and post riding the barbeque was yum! Whilst riding through we heard 'cuckoos', saw ponies grazing, vast open fields and got lots of great pictures. Definitely recommend this cowboy adventure not far away from London.

I was a little dubious at first as I had not been on a horse for about a year but the staff were very welcoming and friendly and very quickly I had relaxed into the saddle and was enjoying a gentle ride through the New Forest. The horses were very well behaved and easy to handle, so it was ideal for beginners. We arrived back at the ranch a bit tired and hungry so the BBQ was very welcome. Good food too to complete the experience.

The experience was fantastic. My horse was called 'Chiquito' and he was great!! After riding for 2 hours in the forest, we had a barbecue in the ranch which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.
