  • About

Try karting for an evening of fast and furiously competitive fun. You'll be behind the wheel of a Pro 390cc kart, which reaches speeds of up to 70 mph (and believe us, that will feel twice as fast in a kart). The group are split into lightweights and heavyweights - done to ensure a level playing field, as driver weight makes a big difference in these little machines. Start off with a video and safety briefing, followed by qualifying laps to get used to the karts and the 1,200m outdoor international circuit. Then let your competitive streak loose in three quick-fire race heats. The leading points scorers go on to take part in the grand final, followed by a trophy presentation for the top three drivers.

A chance to unleash the the raceboy (or girl!) in you. A fantastic evening of racing comprising of numerous heats of qualifying and a semi final and final for the best drivers. I have raced on several of the longer outdoors tracks and this one is up there with the best of them. There are numerous full-speed corners on the course (if your nerves hold out) along with some sharper and more difficult sections to catch you out and seperate the pack! The structure of the evening allowed time inbetween your heats that you could watch the other heats and perhaps grab a cuppa, before you were up again. The real-time screens showing the current race times and positions of the other drivers made spectating a must so that you could sum-up your opposition! One of the best karting events I have visited. Excellent.
