Step into the state-of-the-art kitchen studio owned by Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi of BBC2's Return to Tuscany for a mouth-watering experience. Learn how to create delicious Italian dishes to wow friends and family - even if your culinary prowess extends no further than boiling an egg! On arrival, enjoy tea or coffee and biscotti or a glass of Prosecco and freshly made Focaccia. Then the chef will demonstrate the antipasti and seasonal pasta dishes you're going to prepare. Pay attention, it's your turn next - get your apron on and your hands dirty creating your very own Italian masterpieces. Friendly, expert advice and help is on hand throughout, and once everything is cooked, reap the rewards of your hard work by sitting down to enjoy your creations in the light, airy kitchen seated area. Your meal also includes a great-tasting half bottle of Italian wine, chosen to complement your food perfectly. Water, tea and coffee are available all day, and you'll also take home a free gift.

Key Info

Availability: Weekend dates approximately three times a year.
Participant Guidelines: Minimum age is 16, or 14 if accompanied by another Red Letter Days booked voucher holder. The venue welcomes disabled participants and offers full wheelchair access.
Duration: In total, expect your experience to last around four hours, starting at 10.30am for lunch courses or 6.30pm for evenings. Preparation and cooking (antipasti, three types of pasta, three sauces and a dessert) should last around two and a half hours.
Numbers On Day: You'll share one of two group dining tables with a maximum of 22 diners in total (16 participants and up to 6 guests), plus your chef and chef's assistant.
Spectators: The masterclass is just for you, but you can purchase a ticket for a dining guest to join you (code CCLIG) to share the results.
Dress Code: Aprons are provided to protect your clothes whilst cooking. If you'd like to visit the restaurant/bar area, dress code is smart casual with no trainers please.
