Availability
Available daily (excluding Wednesdays). The zoo is closed only on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We recommend allowing at least two weeks notice for this popular experience.
Participant Guidelines
Ages 5 to 15 and must be accompanied by a spectating adult aged 18 or over. Please call us in advance to confirm suitability if the intended recipient has a physical or mental disability. Regrettably this experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
Weather
This experience may be cancelled in cases of severe weather, you will be contacted and given as much notice as possible but please be aware of the possibliity of cancellations on the day.
Duration
Your encounter will last approximately 30 minutes. As the experience includes free admission, you're welcome to spend the rest of the day at the zoo.
Numbers On Day
There will be a maximum of two others sharing your experience.
Spectators
Spectators and additional guests are welcome and can pay the entry fee on the way in on the day. Those under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Dress Code
Wear comfortable clothes, you will be provided with wellington boots and overalls to wear over the top.
