  • About

Get to grips with the fundamentals of this once widely used equestrian transport, before putting your newfound skills to the test on a purpose-built obstacle course. You'll begin with a full safety briefing, before meeting Dini and Charlie (among other resident characters) at the stables. After learning the basic techniques of carriage driving, you'll feel your way around the rapid obstacle course, before stopping for a well-earned refreshment break. Afterwards, the demo team will show you what carriage driving is all about and you'll have a chance to get on the back step of a carriage, pulled by two of the famous chariot ponies. Your experience will conclude with cakes, coffee and a rosette to take home.

    • Learn to manoeuvre a carriage around an obstacle course
    • Get on the backstep and hold on as you race around corners and obstacles at speed
    • Coffee, cakes and a rosette for each of you to round off your experience
