    Owls In Their Element!

What a great experience! We've all seen owls hiding at the back of aviaries during the day, but here you get to see them awake and alert at their naturally active time of day. Apart from being able to hold them and appreciate their beauty up close, the experience of them flying silently past you during the displays is fantastic. The falconers are very knowledgeable and very accommodating for photographers of all levels. A really great evening!

Guides were knowledgeable and interesting, the owls themselves were beautiful. Getting to handle them was the truly breathtaking. Only criticism is that there were maybe too many people (we had a full group), which meant a lot of waiting to handle the owls. But it was altogether an amazing experience, we'd love to do it again!

    Excellent

We had a lovely evening and the 2 owl experts were very knowledgeable! They had a passion for owls which they were able to communicate.

Really enjoyed the evening seeing the owls. Saw lots of different types of owls and learnt about the differences and where they came from. Then we spent some time watching the owls fly before handling the birds ourselves. The staff were really knowledgeable and really loved the owls. Great time!

I have always been interested in owls and this experience expanded my knowledge and allowed me to get up close to the birds and witness them flying for food.

The Owl experience is right outside Moreton-in-Marsh, in a lovely setting. Driving through the beautiful cotswolds in Autum was fantastic - we couldn't get over how quaint and pretty some of the villages were. At the falconry centre, we learned much about owls from the two guides who first showed us around the enclosures. After we'd met the local residents, we got to experience them first hand as the keepers flew the owls around a field. Owls are so quiet, you would never know they were there if you didn't see them. Best of all, we got to hold not one, but three owls, including Thumper who has quite a personality. We have some fantastic photos from the day, and have a huge appreciation for the beautiful birds. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    Great Evening

Wonderful opportunity to get up close to owls and be able to watch them in action and have them on your hand.

The owls were amazing and the tour of the aviaries was very informative. Watching the owls fly across the fields was breathtaking, especially the snowy owl, my favourite. Bought this for Dad for his 60th birthday and he said it was the best present. He was really excited to hold not one but two owls! Only slight problem was we believed there to be soup as the experience started quite early so we didn't have any dinner. There was no soup, but a slice of cake and a cup of tea which meant we were really hungry after the experience finished and it was a little late to find anywhere to eat. Overall though would highly recommend this to anyone who loves owls!

    Unforgetable Evening.

The evening went off without any hitches and was exactly as described in the brochure. We would have loved to have had longer and maybe it should have started before it got too dark.

This was a wonderful experience for both of us. To have owls perching on one's arm is just something. I would certainly visit again.

If you like wildlife then this is the evening for you. We have been to several of these type of visits but this one was by far the best! You see the birds flying but you also got to handle several species and were told many facts about the birds that are not always mentioned elsewhere. I noticed the people who displayed the birds enjoyed what they did, this was quite obvious and it did make a difference to the visit.Last but not least was the setting, miles of unspoilt Cotswold countryside and a huge herd of magnificent Red Deer in the pasture next to the flight area. All in all it was a perfect evening for us. Thank you!

    Very Enjoyable Evening

A great evening, getting closely acquainted with these impressive birds. The two members of staff from the Centre were very professional - welcoming & knowledgeable, and they took care to make sure everyone had a good time. Seeing the owls flying at close quarters, and then getting to hold them ourselves, made it a very memorable evening.

    Excellent.

Friendly people and they made you feel really wecome. Lots of information about owls but not so much that it was like being at school. A great evening and we will be going back to the Bird of Prey centre for a day trip before too long.

It was an all round wonderful evening in great settings with staff who were courteous, amusing, approachable and above all knowledgable. The birds are clearly treated well. Being able to handle the birds - under close supervision - clearly makes the evening and we got some very good photos. We were not rushed yet moved through each part of the evening efficiently by the qualified staff. We came away enthralled with our evening which was given to us as a wedding present last year.

    Fantastic

Got this for my husbands 30th and as a treat for me!! It was a fantastic evening and learnt lots of things that we would never have known. Even got to meet a gorgeous 11 week old barn owl. The handlers were also really good and helped those that were a bit nervy of handling the larger owls.

    Excellent Birthday Present

The Owl evening is a brilliant introduction to the Owls at the centre, and the staff are clearly devoted and passionate about what they do. Although the weather was changeable, the evening was very enjoyable and informative and care was taken to make sure that everyone was involved and their questions answered. Highly recommended.

    Wonderful Night

A huge amount of fun. We spent a lot of time handling the owls, seeing them flying, and seeing many different kinds of owl in the aviaries. Wonderful.
