My wife and I had a great evening, the weather was cold but bright. We both learned a lot from the experience and the falconry team were both helpful and knowledgeable. To get close to the owls was something else, we even got to see an owl chick. To see the Snowy Owl and the Barn Owl flying free was just magical. I would recommend this evening to anyone who is interested in birds

It was so nice to see the owls at night when they are naturally around. It was great watching them fly into the darkness and see then silently return.

We were lucky with the weather and the owls were all very active. The two guides were very informative and kept it all light-hearted. They kept it pitched to all levels of previous experience. The owls were the stars of the show.

    3 Hours Of Owl Delight

We did "As it says on the tin". Both members of staff were knowledgable and informative about many aspects of owls, answering many questions from the group. There was plenty of interaction with a variety of owls, as well as photo opportunities including handling owls on the glove. As well as the Falconry Centre the cotswolds is a wonderful area to visit and recommend making the evening as part of a break to see some of the countryside. We stopped at The Bell of Willersey which we found convenient and comfortable, with good food, and we were looked after well by Maggie and Warren.

Brilliant To See Owls As They Should Be

The team at the Cotswold Falconry Centre was great, entertaining and informative. It was great to see a large selection of owls at night, as they should be, instead of sleeping if you see them during the day. The evening ran well and to time and we didn't have too long standing around while others got a chance to see the owls as the group was well sized. A great opportunity to get up close to many owls and there are brilliant photo opportunities. A night I won't forget.

Picture the scene. It's dark the owls are going about their business both inside the avaries and in the surrounding contryside. You've been given information on the birds, had a hot drink and now youre sat with these magnificent and majestic creatures flyinf over your head. Time to have a go at holding the birds and ask more questions. Completely magical.

This was an amazing night and so much more than we expected. We got to fly an owl, saw lots of flying displays and then got to hold three different owls. Loved it, learned a lot and would recommend it to anyone who likes birds. Very friendly helpful staff. Can't wait for a return visit.

    Owls In Their Element!

What a great experience! We've all seen owls hiding at the back of aviaries during the day, but here you get to see them awake and alert at their naturally active time of day. Apart from being able to hold them and appreciate their beauty up close, the experience of them flying silently past you during the displays is fantastic. The falconers are very knowledgeable and very accommodating for photographers of all levels. A really great evening!

    Thoroughly Interesting And Different

Guides were knowledgeable and interesting, the owls themselves were beautiful. Getting to handle them was the truly breathtaking. Only criticism is that there were maybe too many people (we had a full group), which meant a lot of waiting to handle the owls. But it was altogether an amazing experience, we'd love to do it again!

    Fantastic Evening

The owls were amazing and the tour of the aviaries was very informative. Watching the owls fly across the fields was breathtaking, especially the snowy owl, my favourite. Bought this for Dad for his 60th birthday and he said it was the best present. He was really excited to hold not one but two owls! Only slight problem was we believed there to be soup as the experience started quite early so we didn't have any dinner. There was no soup, but a slice of cake and a cup of tea which meant we were really hungry after the experience finished and it was a little late to find anywhere to eat. Overall though would highly recommend this to anyone who loves owls!

    Excellent

Really enjoyed the evening seeing the owls. Saw lots of different types of owls and learnt about the differences and where they came from. Then we spent some time watching the owls fly before handling the birds ourselves. The staff were really knowledgeable and really loved the owls. Great time!

    We Had The Best Day!

The Owl experience is right outside Moreton-in-Marsh, in a lovely setting. Driving through the beautiful cotswolds in Autum was fantastic - we couldn't get over how quaint and pretty some of the villages were. At the falconry centre, we learned much about owls from the two guides who first showed us around the enclosures. After we'd met the local residents, we got to experience them first hand as the keepers flew the owls around a field. Owls are so quiet, you would never know they were there if you didn't see them. Best of all, we got to hold not one, but three owls, including Thumper who has quite a personality. We have some fantastic photos from the day, and have a huge appreciation for the beautiful birds. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
