Availability
Runs every Saturday and on selected Sundays (at least two per month) as well as occasional Wednesdays. Closed from early December to mid January. All booking is subject to availability.
Participant Guidelines
Maximum weight is 18 stone and maximum height is 6'6''. You must be able to produce your full manual driving licence with you on the day to guarantee participation.
Weather
Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue Mon - Fri (if in any doubt).
Duration
You can expect to be at the circuit for up to an hour in total including your driving time (six miles). Please arrive a few minutes in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start.
Numbers On Day
All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis. Briefings are held in groups of up to 30 people. There are likely to be other vehicles on the track at the same time.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome and each one is entitled a free 4 x 4 off road passenger ride. Other extra (chargable) drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability.
Dress Code
Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together. A helmet will be provided, or you can bring your own (it will be safety checked before driving).
Other Info
From 7.45am - 5.45pm a free minibus operates every 30 minutes between Stafford train station and the Stafford Activity Centre. Participants who choose this greener way to travel receive a £10 voucher and spectators a £5 voucher to spend onsite.
