  • About

Karting isn't just for kids - it's how many Grand Prix champions (including former Formula 1 world champions Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton) start out. Whatever your racing ambitions, this experience is fun; whether you're a novice or an expert you'll enjoy this fast and furious session, racing others head-to-head around a specially-designed track. You'll start with a briefing on safety and driving technique. Then you'll take the wheel for some untimed practice laps to familiarise yourself with the karts and the 350 metre outdoor circuit, followed by race heats and finals. The top six drivers go through to the final, and the fastest three win trophies. These 200cc karts are faster than standard karts and can reach speeds of up to 45mph.

    • This is where Ayrton Senna and world F1 champion Lewis Hamilton first made their names
    • Untimed practise laps to get you familiar with your kart and the circuit

I'm not a petrolhead, but had a great time. Far more time on the track than I was expecting. Would love to have another go!
