  • About

As England's largest single estate vineyard, Denbies is an idyllic location to indulge in a spot of cheese and wine making. Begin with Danish pastries, tea and coffee on arrival, before heading to Norbury Blue to get hands-on with each step of the cheese making process, from 'cutting' the curds and whey, to loading the moulds. Afterwards, Denbies put on a tasty three-course hot lunch, which is followed by a wine tasting session - sample a selection of award-winning estate wines under the guidance of an in house expert. Spend the rest of the day working in the winery and learn aspects of the production process, including wine blending and grape variety.

    • Visit Norbury Blue to see the cheese production process

I took my dad for his 60th birthday as we both love cheese and wine. I really enjoyed the whole day, everyone who ran it was clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about what they do - cheese and wine making. He really loved it too, in all it was a really nice day. I also thought it was great value for money, too.
