I have to say I was impressed with this tour. Chicago Mike was a great guide for the tour, and clearly knows his stuff about rock n roll. By being in a small group you didn't feel as if you were being herded around all the time, and being on a minibus (rather than a coach) you got to go off the beaten track to reach some of the landmarks (or to use side roads to get around the traffic!). All in all I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes music - just be careful at the Abbey Road crossing, drivers aren't too keen to stop for you!

My wife and I went on this tour after our son purchased it for my 64th birthday. Only myself and the wife were on the small tour bus as the other party failed to arrive so it was like a private tour. The guy named Mike from Chicago was great very informative and helpful and it was more than we expected, even going in Sticky Fingers owned by Bill Wyman despite it being closed. To being given time to see Abbey Road and walking on that famous crossing. The CCTV filming the crossing is great as you can watch and download your pics up to 24 hours after the event. Seeing where all those great rock stars lived and died was unbelievable. Finally ending up at The Hard Rock Cafe and going into the vault where all the rock memorabilia is stored. A great tour and well worth the trip. Thanks again to our guide Mike!!!!

Our guide was great, enthusiastic and full of interesting facts and figures for us all. He took time to find out about us personally and added little bits to the tour to make the day extra special. Unfortunately two road closures due to an accident meant a change to the tour route but our guide handled this really well and did not let this affect our enjoyment. Anyone will enjoy this tour as it covers all aspects of music and the early years of our famous rock bands. We did not want the tour to end - it was so good. Well done and thank you!

    Had A Brilliant Time !!

My niece(17) and I (43) enjoyed our tour so much! Bob the guide had non-stop anecdotes about every area of London we visited. The entertainment was non-stop and fantastic value for money! I keep remembering stories from our day which was just so memorable; we absolutely loved it! Perfect for anyone with an interest in music, the 60s or someone like me who is just plain nosey!

Absolutely superb tour. Well organised, not too much walking and very comfortable mini-coach. Lots of information passed on by courier, who knew his stuff. Would recommend to anyone who is a Rock 'N Roll buff.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with our guide who was extremely knowledgeable about the Rock scene, especially in London and shared with us all the little snippets of info/great anecdotes that you would not have known otherwise. The bus was very comfortable and the blacked out windows made us feel important! Being part of a very small group meant we could appreciate the tour very privately and ask questions we might not have done otherwise. We appreciated the diversity of the tour, especially that we were able to walk over that zebra crossing- even though we forgot to look up the webcam piccis in time the next day, sadly! We would definitely do this tour again- especially if we could have the same guide- Mike from Chicago!

    What A Blast!

I have now been on 5 of your Red Letter Day experiences....and this one certainly did NOT let me down! Our tour guide was totally brilliant and made each of our party feel welcome as he imparted such a vast array of knowledge that I now feel upto entering any quiz on that subject! Both my boyfriend and I soaked up all his anecdotes as the afternoon sped by in our tour bus. I never knew there was so much to be seen amongst the little back streets of London. I was only sorry that it ended so soon. I would have happilly spent hours more in his brilliant company. Thank you Red Letter Days...it was wonderful!

I didn't know quite what to expect from the tour but all I can say is what a truly fascinating and entertaining experience! Bob the driver/guide shared his great wealth of musical knowledge mixed in with anecdotes about the rock scene of the last 40+ years and really held our interest. The use of a mini-bus also meant we could get right up close to many of locations - almost to the front doors (or back doors in some cases). I'm not a rock'roll but you don't need to be to enjoy this superb tour! Well done to all involved.

    Really Enjoyable Day

Liked the way the guide wove in the social history of the time, gave the presentation more meaning.
