Rally driving occupies a unique place in the motorsport world. It's fast, furious and often seems barely in control. Well, find out for yourself behind the wheel of a specially-prepared rally car. Discover the secrets of skid control, break control and up and over steer techniques on a special tarmac rally stage. Your experience begins with a short safety briefing followed by familiarisation laps in a Subaru, driven by a qualified instructor. Then you'll take the wheel of a superb Mitsubishi Evolution V on the tarmac rally stage, to put your new skills into action with your instructor encouraging you all the way. A debrief and certificate presentation concludes your experience.

Participant Guidelines: Minimum height is 5'0'', maximum 6'3''. Maximum weight is 17 stone. You need a full British or international manual driving licence which you'll need to produce on day.
Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. You will be called if the experience is cancelled for any reason.
Duration: Your experience will last for approximately 40 to 60 minutes, including your briefing and 10 minutes' driving time. Please arrive up to 15 minutes in advance of your start time to ensure a prompt start.
Numbers On Day: There will be up to eighteen people taking part, split into three groups for the driving activities.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome to join you. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Prestwold Hall boasts an American style diner with food, refreshments and a view of some of the action. Dogs are not allowed at the circuit.
Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. Any special equipment will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own helmet if you have one (it will be tested by the instructor).
Availability: Selected weekdays and Saturdays.
Other Info: You are welcome to spend the day at Prestwold Hall and watch the other experiences taking place.
