Introduction to Trout Fly Fishing

The instructor (John) was excellent, did not spend time showing how good he is but just worked on the pupils, which makes a pleasant change - also grade A coffee.

A superb afternoon. Everything was spot on and the whole experience enhanced by a very knowledgable and friendly instructor. A top day out.

Best weather of year, beautiful location and a patient, clear and friendly instructor and we caught fish. Could not ask for more, only a little longer fishing. Hooked!!

One of those things I have seen from being a boy and thought I would like to do that but like so many other things in life just never got round to doing. What a great venue, great instruction, great company, great fishing and a fantastic day. Never held a fly fishing rod in my hand before, let alone catch a trout with a fly. In the space of a few hours I learnt about the most suitable rod and gear to use, how to cast, choose flies, tie them and best of all catch a trout and I did, five of them in fact. Beginner's luck I guess? Will be buying my first fly fishing rod very shortly and can't wait to give it another go. A big thank you to all involved!

Calm, relaxing way of spending a morning in the countryside. Great tuition from an experienced fly fisherman. Would recommend the day as a way to de-stress. May even take it up as a hobby.

The tuition was superb and the 2:1 ratio really made this possible. The experience covered all aspects of fly fishing and then allowed one to put this straight into practice by catching fish. Your admin was excellent keeping me informed as dates had to change a couple of times. Thanks.

The venue was brilliant from the initial welcome, excellent training, splendid fish to catch for my Supper and it was delicious. Everything was perfect.
