This is the opportunity of a lifetime to spend the day on the River Test, the world's most renowned trout river. You will have exclusive access to a private beat on this famous river, with an experienced and helpful fishing guide at your side. The guide is a real local expert who knows all the best spots, flies to pick and carries the latest Orvis fishing outfit for you to use (if you don't have your own tackle). You will spend the day spotting and stalking brown trout that are just waiting to grab your perfectly cast fly in the gin-clear water! And all the while you will be soaking up the magnificent tranquillity of the Test Valley, where the occasional appearance of a kingfisher flashing by or a water vole poking his head up around your feet is as much intrusion on your fishing day as you can expect.

Availability: Seven days a week from June until September.

Participant Guidelines: This experience is perfect for experienced anglers, but beginners are also welcome and instruction will be tailored to suit your particular needs.

Weather: The type of fishing offered may be subject to change without notice to suit the weather and fishing conditions.

Duration: The day starts at 9.30am, with a break for lunch in a local pub. The fishing day ends in the early evening.

Numbers On Day: This is a private session with just the two of you and your instructor.

Spectators: The exclusive nature of this experience means is not suitable for spectators.

Dress Code: Dress according to the weather as you will be outside all day, i.e. waterproofs, jacket and hat. Bring sunglasses, sunblock, a camera and a plastic bag or cool box for any fish you catch.

Other Info: Tackle will be provided but do bring your own if you have it. Flies and leaders will be provided.
