The hotel was easy to find, after an hour enjoying a walk around Green Park with the views of Buckingham Palace. The staff in the Tea Room were friendly and helpful and we were given a choice of where to sit. I chose not to drink the champagne as I am pregnant, but I was offered a fruit punch as a replacement, which was delicious. Meanwhile, my husband drank both glasses of champagne, at no extra cost.... Staff were also careful to ensure that I was given a selction of sandwiches with only cooked meats and no mayonnaise. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were very tasty and in just the right quantities. I do however suspect that people with larger appetites may have wished for more. The tea was served in rather curious looking glass teapots. The first cup was brewed to perfection, but unfortunately the second and third were too strong and we would have benefitted from having a fresh pot or at least some extra hot water to dilute it down. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

This was a gift from my daughter for my husbands 50th and we thought it would be very stuck up and not for us, but this was far from the case it was a lovely afternoon, wonderful location and very friendly staff. The champagne was wonderful and the food was very filling so much so we couldn't eat it all! The waitress actually bought out a box and said would you like to take the rest of the cakes home!! The tea choice is amazing in fact things you wouldn't even think of. It was definitely a wonderful way to remember a special birthday.

The Pommery champagne afternoon tea had some nice touches - of course we liked the glass of bubbly to start, and being able to choose from a wide selection of jars of loose tea was excellent - a really nice twist on the standard tea offer. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were good, however a request for addtional sandwiches resulted in an additional charge - this was a first for us, so users beware!

A lovely experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we could enjoy the afternoon for as long as we wished. The food was delicious and I enjoyed choosing a tea from the wide selection. The waiters were expecting us and we were made to feel very welcome. If you would like to enjoy a special, leisurely afternoon, then look no further.

A lovely relaxed afternoon in beautiful surroundings. Had been bought as an anniversary gift and was used later by chance on valentines day. A warm welcome on arrival and given a choice where to sit. And with rose petals scattered on the tables a lovely touch at no extra cost. Food was delicious with a good selection of tea to choose from. Along with a cool glass of champagne. A wonderful afternoon.

Lovely Restful Experience On A Cold Rainy Sunday

We thoroughly enjoyed the Champagne Afternoon Tea experience at the Hilton Green Park Hotel. We were lucky enough to have our first choice of date and time, although the hotel was surprisingly busy for a wet and cold Sunday afternoon in February. Despite arriving rather early the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and they set us up in a special secluded table (where we could keep a weather eye on the 6 nations rugby match that was being played on the plasma tv!) and readily supplied extra tea which complemented the delicious finger sandwiches and obviously handmade cakes. Service was attentive but not intrusive and we must have been there about 2 hours in total. We will definitely go back to that hotel as it is particularly easy for us travelling by train to the disabled friendly Green Park Underground station. The whole experience was everything stated in the brochure and more, and we must thank our friends very much for organising this as an anniversary treat

We arrived at the Hilton Hotel and were greeted kindly and shown to our seats. Then and for the next 2hours we leisurely enjoyed the experience, we were made to feel welcome and un-rushed. The tea was lovely-the sandwiches would depend on your personal taste though as they use a variety of different breads. They ask if you have any special dietry requirements prior to bringing your food. It is presented beautifully-the cakes were lovely and the freshly made warm scones were amazing. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Green Park tube station and it would be a wonderful gift for people that like to relax and chat over lunch.

    Lovely Afternoon Tea!!

The afternoon tea was good. Only improvement would have been a little more cream and jam to go with scones. The scones needed a little more moisture.

We enjoyed our afternoon Tea for Two at the Tiger Green Brasserie at Hilton Green Park. A nice selection of sandwiches and cakes and tea. We had to ask for more cream for our scones as they only provided a very small serving. The Brasserie could do with a bit of touching up but overall this was a very nice experience.
