The Shard towers over London and with an impressive 95 storeys, it's the tallest building in the EU. This experience combines the truly breathtaking view from the top of this stylish building with a traditionally English afternoon tea. Upon arrival at The Shard, be transported from street level a whopping 800 feet skyward to survey the 360 degree view that spans an incredible 40 miles over the capital city. Back on ground level, a short walk from The Shard, visit the Hilton Tower Bridge for a spot of afternoon tea. Enjoy a spread of finger sandwiches with fillings such as smoked salmon, chorizo and houmous, delicate cakes and pastries, raisin scones with clotted cream and jam and a pot of speciality tea. The perfect end to a wonderful afternoon.

Great place run by very nice people.
We really enjoyed our experience. The Shard is well staffed, and a smooth pathway was made through the experience. The afternoon tea was lovely too
The view from the Shard was amazing. I went with my niece and we both really enjoyed it.
This was a great experience, combining the excitement of the Shard with the elegance of a traditional English afternoon tea.The Shard is well designed for visitors, and, after an expected short wait at the ticket desk, (it would have helped if the touch screen ticket system had worked), all proceeded effortlessly. The lifts are smooth and efficient, and in spite of the height, the viewing platform feels very safe and secure. Part of the upper platform is open to the sky, so on a lovely day it felt great to feel the breeze and stand in the sunshine. The Hilton served a very nice selection of sandwiches and cakes, and the staff were keen to offer good service. The rest of the day was spent enjoying the stunning views of the river and the many local attractions.
The view from the Shard was spectacular. We had a lovely sunny day, which helped, as we were able to really drink in the view. The Hilton was a short walk away, so we had plenty of time to view the river from ground level too. The afternoon tea was pleasant, if not special. It felt a bit processed.
The experience of the Shard was great and the afternoon tea was lovely after a tiring day. Well worth visiting.
The View from the Shard was something that my mum had wanted to do since it opened, and to be honest, had we had to pay for it, at their standard price, I probably wouldn't have bothered, but as we had the lovely Red Letter Day gift card it was a real treat! We spent over an hour gazing down at all the familiar sights- and even saw planes and helicopters cruising BELOW us! I was a really great experience. Afternoon tea was very pleasant and filling, but the venue could have had a little more atmosphere. The cakes were delicious though! and we asked for top- ups of tea, which was all included. All in all, I actually enjoyed a sunny afternoon of being a tourist in my own city for a change.
Would definitely recommend- great day out!
Great view and afternoon tea.
Shard is great, views are superb. Well organized from start to finish. Afternoon tea was a great way to end the day. Liked the fact that everything was only a few minutes walk to underground ( London Bridge)
The friendly staff were on hand straight away to gude us to the top, even though it was a cloudy day the views were amazing. Tea at the Hilton Tower Bridge was delicious, and we could have as many cups of teas as we liked.
The view from the shard was amazing, definitely worth a visit. The whole thing was so well organised and staff very helpful and knowledgable. We stayed up there for an hour but could have stayed longer. Afterwards we went for afternoon tea at the Hilton Tower Bridge. An extensive choice of tea with instructions on brewing time for the perfect cuppa. The food was lovely with sandwiches, fruit and fancy cakes - yummy! A very lovely day and a fab treat.
