Mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086, the castle has been the location for some spectacular feasting down the centuries. After coffee and biscuits, you'll go for a brief tour of the castle. Then follow a glass of champagne with a two course lunch at the Restaurant Anise. Next esteemed head chef Tim Hamer offers a two-hour cookery demonstration. Tim started his career at the Grosvenor House hotel (previously known as Le Meridien Grosvenor House) and has several years experience working at top level. He'll show you how to prepare a variety of dishes, some classic, others with a twist. The demonstration includes a tasting and q and a session and you'll get a complimentary signature apron. Remember to leave room for afternoon tea and cakes!
