This experience has all the best bits about camping - trendy, eco-friendly, active - without the downside of having to pitch your tent in a howling gale and live off instant noodles. You'll spend your two-night break in a traditional teepee, ready-pitched in a secluded spot chosen for its natural beauty. You might be in the middle of the countryside, but your teepee is fully equipped with a wood-burning stove, cooking apparatus, sheepskin rugs and a double bed. There's also an on-site welcome tent that has information about local walks and places to eat (and a 24hr call out phone, for emergencies). If you can bear to leave your cosy teepee, there are stunning forest and mountain walks in the local area, and you can visit the nearby Centre for Alternative Technology, one of the world's foremost research centres for sustainable living and environmental solutions. And just in case you need any more help relaxing, a reiki treatment and twilight meditation session are included.
