We loved our teepee. Everything was perfect (even the weather) and we didn't want to come home. Thanks mum and dad for a perfect 40th birthday present.

I booked this break away for my hubands 40th for something a bit different and thats exactly what we got! We had the most amazing time, peaceful and very relaxing. There is something very magical about this place.

I booked this as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife and must say it was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. So peaceful and remote, away from the rush of daily life (and kids!), time to relax and unwind. Would recommend to anyone who wants to escape and recharge their batteries!

Booked by the wife and was not really 100% keen but wow what an adventure. The teepee was great the views were amazing and the 2 days was just US. Will not spoil it by telling all but be prepared to give it a go and you will have an amazing time.

When my boyfriend booked this for me for Christmas I really didn't know what to expect because I'm not the outdoors type of girl but it was the most amazing time away from normal life. Everything was so perfect and relaxing I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get completely away from the stresses of life.

This was the most amazing experience - just us, the Teepee and nature. The teepee was extremely comfortable, with a woodburning stove for heat and candles for light, all of which created the most romantic atmosphere. Miles away from anywhere we were able to completely relax and forget the stresses of modern life. This is a fantastic opportunity for people to just be together, with no distractions, and completely unwind.

If you want to get away from it all for a truly romantic time then this is perfect. No phones, no tv, no internet, NO KIDS! Just peace and quiet and plenty of opportunity to get to know the love of your life again. We were amazed at what was provided in the tepee and brought far too much with us 'just in case we needed it', but you really don't need any extras at all, except make sure you take plenty of food. Remember, whatever you bring, you have to lug up a very steep hill!

This spot is a very special place. It's a beautiful landscape setting which touched us somewhere deep that really made us happy! It was helped by the sunny spring weather and gorgeous lambs and sheep that were all around us. The people that made this happen have got the balance right in getting in touch with nature in the most comfortable way possible. Warning - take provisions! We ate what was offered to us, because we weren't prepared to leave the valley (I had originally planned to go out for dinner!). Actually everything provided is more than adequate and just right for the job. We loved our teepee, the fires, the bed, and all the wonderful little touches like tealights and reading matter.

We booked this experience for our 1st Anniversary and it was magical. Our teepee was in a small clearing amongst the trees overlooking a stunning landscape bathed in the colours of autumn. Tea lights were dotted around our new home and we soon had the fire roaring in the wood burning stove. Snuggle up close and you are as snug as bug. The next morning we were greeted by Claude who gave us both Reiki massages - an incredibly relaxing experience that left us both light headed and peaceful. A wander down the mountain, through the meadow, over the stream - meeting cows and sheep along the way - before heading into the welcome tent for a meditation session. I was out for the count much to the amusement of everyone! I will be recommending this to anyone with a sense of fun!

A truly memorable and wonderful experience for my wife and I at the Eco Retreat in Powys, Wales. The whole experience was amazing and we would certainly recommend it to anyone who asked! In fact... we'd like to go again ourselves.

The teepee was breathtaking, the sights are superb, it feels like your own kingdom ... views of mountains for miles and a waterfall of our own! You go back to basics in a very spoilt way, although you have to make the fire yourself some of the wood has already been collected for you, and there are proper plates and cutlery, and it's so much more than camping as there is a double bed, not sleeping bags! To wake up in the morning and feel like there is no one else in the whole world anywhere near is an unbelievable feeling. The scary bit was the first time I had to use the natural spring water shower!! Screeech, it takes your breath away but once you get used to it, it is actually refreshing! Altogether wonderful, go and try it.

An amazing experience with my wife on my Birthday. The setting was perfect and we would go back again with our children as we think this is something they should experience. Being at one with nature is the best feeling ever.

I have just had the most amazing romantic birthday ever at the Eco Retreat in Wales. If you need to get away from it all and have two days of peace and quiet just listening to the birds, the sheep and the sound of a river then here is the place.
