Best 21St Birthday Present, Ever!
It was exactly what I was after for my birthday, and never once did the day look like it would disappoint! From the minute we arrived at Silverstone, the grandeur of it all seemed to take over everyone in the car. The briefing was light and amusing, thankfully, because it had the potential to be incredibly complex and boring. The scheduled half hour flew by, and next thing I knew, I was sitting in a bright orange car (I love orange)! I have absolutely no criticisms of the day! The cars were brilliant, it was exactly what I imagined it to be. Plus, it was easier to pick up than I had hoped! The speed was exhilarating and I don't think I will have a better day for a very long time!

A 'Milestone' Birthday Present For My Husband
This experience was a 50th birthday present for my husband, who I thought deserved something different for a change! He was thrilled to receive it and even more so to actually have the experience. We have been to Silverstone on many occasions to se F1 racing, but to actually be the one in the driving seat, be able to drive the car round the track and even overtake others, was truly amazing for him. By co-incidence, he was given another 'experience' on his birthday by colleagues, so he now has another opportunity to do it all over again! Many thanks for a great day out - one to be remembered for a good long while. In addition, the certificate and photo were perfect keep-sakes of this day.
Fantastic from start to finish, something I always wanted to do and will never forget. Thks Red Letter Days and thks Silverstone. For anyone thinking of giving this a try, do it now. A great adrenalin rush. You are treated very well, given all the help and guidance you need to make the day memorable. Thanks again for a great day out.

Exhilarating - Once Tried Never Forgotten
From the day before, when I received a text from Red Letter Days confirming details, to the end of the track session, the whole experience was one of the best managed, slick and professional operations I have come across. The people were hugely enthusiastic, very welcoming and made you feel at ease. The venue is second to none - to drive at the home of British motor racing is itself an amazing feeling. I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family and it is worth every last penny.
An Incredible Experience!
By far and away the best experience I've ever done, have always wanted to try out some single seaters and I certainly wasn't disappointed! An absolute must for anybody with an enthusiasm for racing on 4 wheels!

Everybody Should Do This!
This fantastic day far exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed by the care that was taken to ensure safety whilst not stifling the enjoyment of the experience. Initial apprehension was allayed in the thorough team brief prior to going on track. Then the fun started. The laps behind the pace car enabled me to get used to the controls in the car and to establish the best racing line on the track. We then came into the pits for 'fine tuning' of our technique and to switch on the 'in car DVD' so that I have a lasting memory of the day. The next laps in 'race mode' were outstanding despite the fact that it started to rain. The staff, both on and off track were very professional. This was a most exhilarating day that I will always remember. (I can also brag to my friends that I got the fastest lap time in my group!) Fantastic - don't just think about it - go for it!
Sounds Like A Cliche, But ...
Perhaps the most exhilarating experience of my short 40 years! Once behind the wheel, I WAS Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna rolled into one. Easy to book and a very user friendly website, I'd recommend Red Letter Days to friends and family. Silverstone staff were friendly and professional. A superb day! I just hope I don't have to wait 'til I'm 50 before I can go again!
Genuine Experience Of How A Racing Driver Performs
A great adrenaline booster, a genuine experience of how a racing driver performs and a different type of driving. Used this session to obtain the ability to adapt to driving a racing car, hope to return in future and to drive again a more assured driver and to be able to drive to a higher standard, having enjoyed a high level of training from the instructors.
Fantastic Day - Next Time I'll Take Some Padding!
A fantastic afternoon in the single seater racing car. With speeds upto 110mph and your backside some two or three inches off the ground with no padding, what great way to spend an afternoon. I finished 6th out of 12 on the 'free' twenty minutes of 'racing' - not bad for the oldest person in the sedsion at 60 years. What a great birthday present from my wife - can't wait for next year's Red Letter Days surprise!
Best Experience Ever On A Track
I have been fortunate to drive on a number of circuits (Nurburgring, Misano, Brands Hatch) in a number of different vehicles and I can honestly say this experience at Silverstone was the most fun and most involving, so much so that I am looking at booking again very soon. Despite the fact it rained, it didn't dampen the experience at all, in fact made it far more fun in the corners.
Far outweighed my expectations, excellent venue and staff were all great. Spot on.
I arrived at Silverstone with a mixture of excitement and adrenaline. My hands were actually shaking. Immediately i was put at ease as I was checked in. The pre drive briefing was informative and reassuring. Once in the car the adrenaline really kicked in and as I pulled away my heart raced. From then on it was a fantastic experience, trying my best not to spin off but with confidence increasing, braking later and later into the corners. Down the straight, foot to the floor was an amazing feeling. The gearbox was a little hard to master but once I got the hang of it it was all about the drive. Afterwards I returned to my family who had been screaming encouragement and thoroughly shared the excitement. I would love to come back again.
An Amazing Experience, Well Worth It!
A superb day! From the text from Red Letter Days before, which was a really nice little touch, the whole day was made to feel special. Excellently organised at the track. It was an experience that I will never forget. Lucky to have a nice day, think it's much better in the dry! Thanks to everyone involved, I'd strongly recommend it to anyone.
If you are even slightly interested in motor racing, F1 etc ... then this is for you. The day is very well put together with thorough training and practice, prior to a slot where you can really put your foot down! Trust me - you will enjoy this massively!
Absolutely fantastic day, even the sun came out and there's something! It was a good briefing followed by the initial driving around the track and then being let loose, I managed to overtake everybody else on the track and got a real buzz from it. Still waiting for my phone call from Ferrari!
Great, Lived Up To Expectations
Very professional, very good introduction from the instructor (informative and knowledgeable), experience was as good as I hoped.
That was the best Saturday morning I have ever had, the staff there were friendly and instructive and the cars were fast but easy to handle. Thank you for a great day, 0 to 60mph in 3.5secs put the most amazing smile on my face … I will be back!
