Silverstone is a place where you feel the tradition! Having my son's first proper lesson at such place was incredible. He only knew his surprise present the morning of the event. Exceeded our expectations. Great value for money. Still smiling on his way back. Will do the rookie 2 next year.

If ever we were under promised and over delivered it was at Silverstone. Our 15 year old son, who had driven before, was in a car with the most wonderful instructor who pushed him to the limits and ensured that he got the most out of his Red Letter Day experience (and the Renault Clio). I was really pleased how the experience was tailored to the existing ability of the child. If he wasn't near the upper age limit he would be back for more.

    Terrific Teen Treat!

This was purchased as a treat for our 13 yr old. He was extremely excited about the whole event. More so, on arrival, as we were able to view four of the fastest super-cars around! A treat for any boy racer/Top Gear fanatic! What a great start to the day! and worth arriving a little early for. We saved money by booking via Red Letter Days, instead of reserving directly via Silverstone. The entire morning was very well managed, with a clear explanation given relating to safety. An optional in-car video was available at extra cost if desired. There was no professional photographer on-site on the day of our visit, however, we were free to take as many photos as we liked. Each instructor was assigned 3 participants. The tuition was terrific and ensured that a great time was guaranteed. The Renault Clios were in full racing livery and this really added to the experience. A fantastic introduction to driving in a fun, safe environment. If you a stuck for a gift, this has the WOW factor!

    The Best Fun!!!

To drive a car, but really drive a car on a huge track and be encouraged to go "faster" at the age of 13, is a dream come true. To top it all we bought him 10 minutes on the silverstone track with a racing driver going at 150 mph - pure bliss! We drove back to London with him smiling from ear to ear!!

    Fantastic

We bought the Rookie Driver at Silverstone for our sons 13th Birthday. He absolutely loved it and had a huge grin on his face and we enjoyed watching him. The instructor was very good and made the young people taking part feel confident.
