If you're itching to get in the driving seat but haven't got a provisional licence, now's your chance. What's more, this takes place at the home of the British Grand prix, Silverstone, so is the perfect place to get started! After a welcome and briefing from a qualified advanced driving instructor, take to the tarmac handling pad in a sporty Renault Clio 200 Cup. With 25 minutes behind the wheel, you will learn the fundamentals of driving from an experienced instructor. Master the art of clutch control, gain familiarisation with gears and learn how to pull away and navigate around those all important obstacles. Conclude with a debrief and certificate presentation to find out if you've passed the ultimate driving initiation.

Availability: Selected weekdays and very occasional weekend dates during school holidays. Dates fill very quickly, so please allow several weeks advance booking notice. The circuit closes annually from mid December to mid January.
Participant Guidelines: Maximum weight 18 stone. Minimum height is 4'10''; maximum height is 6'3''. Minimum age is 13, maximum is 16 and all participants must be accompanied by an adult.
Weather: Track driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Duration: Expect to be at the venue for up to two hours, with around twenty five minutes driving. Please arrive around 15 minutes in advance of your booked time to ensure a prompt start.
Numbers On Day: There will be one car and instructor to every three participants and you will be present in the vehicle throughout the experience.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome and can bring a camera to record your experience. Please note that pets are not permitted at any circuits. There is a coffee shop at the drive school selling coffees, soft drinks and hot and cold snacks.
Dress Code: Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers and a long-sleeved top. Wear flat-soled shoes and bring driving gloves if you wish. A helmet will be provided.
Other Info: There is often an official photographer onsite on the day (but this cannot be guaranteed).
