  • About

Get your binoculars out and prepare yourself for this unique perspective of London with an amphibious tour around the sights of the capital. These fascinating DUKWS vehicles were originally used in World War Two and the Korean War, transporting troops and cargo across the waters straight onto the land - exactly what you'll be doing! Famous sights you'll see include Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and The Ritz. Your guide will give you an entertaining commentary, providing an alternative view of London's history, as well as including some fascinating facts and figures about the DUKW (known as Duck) vehicle. Then after passing The Tate Gallery, you'll dive into the Thames and swim up and down the river, before climbing up onto the streets of London towards Lambeth Palace and back to your starting point near the famous EDF Energy London Eye.

    • Tour the city in a famous DUKWS war vehicle
    • From patrolling the streets of London, your vehicle will plunge into the Thames
    • View some fascinating sights including Big Ben and Buckingham Palace
    • Fun for all the family (minimum age 4) - up to four people, two adults, two children

Well organised tour and started right on time. Guide was enthusiastic and kept the tour fun and interesting. The children, ages 5 and 7, enjoyed the tour; especially the splashdown and when we were on the Thames. Recommended family day out!

This was an excellent tour seeing the sights and learning some of the history of London. Descending onto the river was great fun and being able to travel in a d day landing vehicle was a privalege.

A very enjoyable experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and (much to my shame as a Londoner born and bred) I learnt an awful lot about London that I didn't know. On top of that, it was an unusual way to see the sights of London and caused much jollity to sightseers on foot. I have already recommended this event to friends.

    Great Memories For All Involved

A great experience for young and old. It was the first time we'd ever combined seeing the sites from both land and river.

What a Quacker!! We actually arrived just before our due off time of 11.00am missing the pre 1 5minute booking in time, thinking we may miss the trip (due to tube problems!). However the staff were fantastic and to keep things running they had put 4 people from the 11.15 trip on to the 11.00 trip, so we were all very happy (thanks guys). The duck tour itself was superb to which our guide was very informative encouraging feeddback/questions/participation. His local knowledge was superb which made the trip a fantastic day out. If you love London and want to know a little bit more about it's interesting history and fancy a trip up the river in a lorry! Then get booking now - we highly recommennd it...

This is an unusual, exciting, entertaining and educational tour for all the family to enjoy. Everyone on the street looks at you as you drive past in this impressive vehicle and everyone smiles when they see it. My children loved the attention but their favourite bit was the sliproad down to the Thames 'just like being on a rollercoaster' they said. The river journey it self was surprisingly relaxing. I thought I would feel sick but not at all! It was very smooth. The commentary was delightful and we all recommend this trip.

Great Fun And Great Way To See The Sights

We had a fantastic day on the amphibious tour. We had a great guide called Nav who was very informative and also had a great sense of humour. The trip itself showed many of the sights around London and it was finished off by an exciting trip up the Thames which the children especially really enjoyed. It was a great day and really good experience which I would recommend to anyone coming to London.
