The guide was soooooo funny and informative too! What a character that guy is, the tour was great and he made it even better. Highly recommended - gonna go again!
The guide was very funny and told us some great little snippets of interest. My daughter who is 13 really enjoyed it. We will do this again with our friends from the USA in January.
I recently booked for my family to visit London and participate in this tour. My two children aged 10 and 11 were very excited and they were not disappointed. We travelled up to the event by train from Faversham and the meeting point was very easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were seated on the bright orange/yellow amphibious vehicle ready for our tour. We were greeted by our tour guide who was absolutely brilliant, he told us interesting facts and stories about places throughout our journey but he also had a wonderful sense of humour and told some very funny stories, keeping us laughing all the way round. Whilst travelling it was fun to see pedestrians' faces as we came into view in the brightly coloured vehicle quacking down the road! Definitely a smile every mile.
A Splash Of Colour On A Cloudy Day!
My husband and I were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. It was more fun than I could have believed. Everyone on the ordinary tour buses was taking photos of us in our bright yellow Ducks! The journey around London and then down the slipway actually INTO the Thames was great. I visit London a lot for work but it was really different being a 'guest' on board with the friendly Duck Team. Sitting in the middle of the Thames gives you a very different perspective - London with a splash!
Great Day Out, Couldn't Have Been Better
I decided to take my girlfriend on this trip as my parents had already done it a few months before and were raving about it. Great day out, great hosts and generally a really exciting tour. Excellent how they have combined the on land/water experience in one. Would and will highly recommend.
An Experience To Remember
This Red Letter Day was part of a special birthday present for my husband from our son and his family, and I was lucky to be his selected companion! The booking of our tour was so easy and the directions to find the starting point were very well explained. The weather was perfect. Although the 'Duck' prior to ours was running late due to traffic, our booked tour was still on time. Our Guide was extremely good and kept us well informed of all the points of interest with some amusing anecdotes as well. It was just wonderful to see London from two different aspects - higher than a car and therefore more to see, followed by the trip on the Thames giving us another aspect of our wonderful city. Thank you Red Letter Days for making this a day for both my husband and I to remember.
This has got to be one of the best trips I have been on. The 'Duck' behaved impeccably and the crew were first class. Our guide was so professional and knowledgeable as well as being entertaining, it was a real treat. Thank you very much.
Part Of The Over And Under Club!
We had a fantastic day. The tour guide was great and we saw sights of London that you don't see on usual tours. We then ventured into the Thames and are one of the few people that have been over and under the same bridge on the same vehicle!!! It is suitable for adults and children and I would definitely do it again.
Wow! I cannot speak highly enough about this experience! My partner and I had a fantastic time. Our day out was truly enjoyable from start to finish and very well organised. Our guide was most entertaining and very knowledgeable so there was a great atmosphere onboard. The highlight of the journey was undoubtedly splashing down from the water ramp into the Thames. Thoroughly recommended - 10 out of 10!
Excellent Tour, Kids Loved Going On The River
Great tour, very interesting and not boring for the kids. Tour guide really knew his stuff and was very amusing, getting the kids to sing songs as we drove through London. Highly recommended.
This was a great fun trip which we would recommend to all our friends and family. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable regarding the places of interest we passed and it was a brilliant experience 'driving' into the Thames. We will be talking about this experience for quite some time to come.
A Completely Different View On Things
I was delighted to have the opportunity to go on the Duck tour of London as I have seen the unusual vehicles driving around the city before. Our guide was knowledgable and entertaining. I have been telling everyone all the things I never knew, like what is special about Churchill's statue and where James Bond works! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and have got loads of great memories. I have already recommended the experience to friends and family and have volunteered to go with them!
I work as police officer in Westminster and i can honestly say that this is the best way to see Westminster, by road and by sea. I learnt so much and enjoyed the sights. I will certainly recommend this tour to all the tourists I see whilst at work!
From start to finish this was a trip to remember. The tour guide really made the day with a commentary full of laughs and great facts and stories. It had the best of both worlds on land and water. We would recommend this to anyone.
London Tour With A Difference
There are plenty of London tours to choose from, but this one had an interesting twist, with a view from the river. Only thirty passengers made for a more intimate feel and the staff were professional, welcoming and made it feel special, even though they must do the same trip several times a day.
This is a very unique way to see some of the highlights of London. The commentary was informative and funny. A great experience!

Just As It Claimed On The Packet
A really enjoyable experience. Riding the 'Duck', the WW2 amphibious vehicle, was an exciting experience supported by a well informed guide giving an amusing account of some of the hidden sites. Seeing a piece of London from the river for me was unique.
Brilliant. Our guide, Tony, made the city tour very interesting - his knowledge was amazing - and we had a good laugh. Worth it to see my husband's face when we entered the Thames. Made his birthday!
An Interesting Tour On Land And Water - Excellent
A wonderful gift for any family member, friend or colleague. A great idea for a large group wishing for something a little different.
After a rainy start to the day, we had a really good time on the duck, our guide was a really friendly, bubbly lady who kept us amused with her quick wit. Everyone participated, and we only got a little wet as we hit the Thames! My mother and her friend who are in their late seventies and eighties said it was the best day out they'd had in a long time. I have already recommended it to two more people.
It was an altogether excellent and unique way to see some of London's many major sites and history. The tour was made even more enjoyable by the very entertaining and informative commentary by the guide. Her knowledge and up to date line in patter were excellent. Absolutely first class day out.

Great experience! The man giving the tour was very knowledgable and friendly. I would recommend the tour to people of all ages, it was very interesting and fun, especially when going into the water! The children especially enjoyed it as there was a variety of river and road which made it more interesting.
The Duck Tour - Truly Memorable
This was a fantastic way to explore the city supported by an engaging and extremely knowledgeable guide, the bar quiz champ. It was like travelling back in time on a vehicle that had a pivotal role to play on D-Day. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

The whole thing was an excellent experience from the time we got on until the time we got off. The guide made our day, full of wit, knew what he was talking about, good knowledge. Best of all he made us laugh and that is something you can't beat or buy.

An entertaining time was had by me and my Grandson. The on board guide was very informative and kept us all smiling with his witty comments on the way. It's nice to know working history is still alive.
