Superb Way To See London

This was a fantastic trip and I will never forget it. It was a way to see parts of London you normally cannot get access to. The guide (Nav) was excellent, and gave us, the audience, just the right level of information required on this type of activity. There were also some topical and appropriate jokes which are always appreciated.
Very Interesting And Memorable.

This certainly proved to be a 'different' way to celebrate a birthday. The group of ten, of mixed ages, responded with enthusiasm and delight throughout the experience of travelling the West End route in our yellow D.U.K.W.. Riding onto the Thames was as memorable as had been hoped for. The team who were responsible for our trip were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, whether they were 'meeting and greeting' the clients, giving the commentry or driving the vehicle - we had confidence in their skills. We were entertained by the commentry but we did learn some unusual details too - which other tour shows you where Prince Charles buys his shirts or has his hair cut?? The pace of the trip was well controlled and, in spite of a chillier time on the river, we were lucky with the weather. Being able to see the sights from unexected viewpoints was a bonus and has enabled some special photographs to be taken which can only add to the memories of this unique experience.
A Really Great Fun Thing To Do

This is much better than one of the open-top buses. The guide was quietly witty which was superb and the information he gave was correct - as a Londoner this matters to me. It was fascinating to plough down into the Thames. Of course we knew it would be all right, but there was that frisson of doubt which was exciting!
A Different View On London

I was given this experience and I really enjoyed it. Even though I've lived in London for many years, you get a different perspective of familiar London sights from the Duck Tour. On the road, you sit high up and the commentary was both informative and entertaining. In the Thames, you see views of Parliament, bridges and buildings that are unique. Great fun.

We knew we would like it of course, but the tour guide Nav made it really even better. His humour and astonishing depth of knowledge was only surpassed by the info that we were on a WW2 landing craft. Wonderful!

This was a treat for my friend's birthday. It's a brilliant, fun way to see the beautiful sights in London. We also learned a lot...amongst other interesting facts we now know why London taxi's are painted black. Would definitely recommend, but wrap up warm in the Winter months as the Duck gets cold with no windows!!

Our Red Letter Day was a gift from my brother who lives in Germany. He wanted to do 'something different' and made an excellent choice of the Amphibious Vehicle Tour of London for Two which my wife and I enjoyed enormously under the direction of Mark our extremely well-informed and amusing guide.
Enjoyable Trip

Bought as a Christmas present the experience was fun largely due to the knowledge and sense of humour of our Tour Guide - Laura.

We were given this for our silver wedding. It was lovely to see London by road and river. Really interesting bits of information from the guide and lots of laughs as well. The organisation of the event was also very simple and well run.

Me and my husband went on this tour expecting it to be aimed at tourists from abroad. In fact there was non-stop commentary while we were on land which included the normal facts on places like the Ritz and then some much more unusual facts. There's hardly any commentary whilst on the water due to the noise but still nice to enjoy the sights. It can also be enjoyed by all ages as there were two birthday celebrations on there - a 21st and a 60th. It was made a fun trip and there was so much to see I'd do it again!

If you would like a different aspect of London and its history, this tour is a must. Quirky commentary added to an historical mode of transport equals a unique trip.

Great way to see London, staff were entertaining for the entire trip. Lots of local knowledge plus a few extra bits of information that makes for an unusual way to see London. The trip on the river in one of these historic vehicles is the icing on the cake. Would recommend this to anyone coming to London.
