From beginning to end everything about this weekend break was fantastic - the hotel is truly magnificent and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. At every turn someone was on hand asking if they could do anything to help, each time we left the room we returned to find clothes had been folded, bins were emptied, the bed had been turned down, the TV was switched on with a 'welcome' message, etc, etc. The meals were wonderful, complimentary fruit and wine, someone to find you a seat in the bar ... every last thing is thought of and sorted out before you even know that's what you want! The city tour was mind-boggling - a very personal and tailored guide by an expert on London; history, politics, royalty, religion, town-planning, gossip, and so much more. One of the best weekends of my life - it was memorable for all the right reasons and restored my faith in the service industry.
