This is a getaway with a difference; spend a night at The Gallivant, a charming seaside hotel on the glorious sandy beach at Camber, and pick up some cookery tips while you're there. The day starts with a light breakfast and a trip to a local supplier to pick up some supplies for the course. Back at the Bistro you'll watch a cookery masterclass, converting the ingredients into delicious dishes, with tips for dinner party menus as well as everyday cooking. Then you'll take your seats for a late lunch with wine, using ingredients and recipes from the day. You'll stay in a standard-grade double or twin room with driftwood furniture, crisp white linen, TV and DVD player. Full English breakfast is included, and you'll also get a set of course notes to take home.
