Girls, get together to develop those all important driving skills in a real rally car, before tackling a demanding rally stage. Sit down together for a briefing before climbing into an open-top RST Rally Academy training car, learning clutch control, steering and braking. Next up take the RST on a tarmac surface test stage track, driving to the limit with an instructor on hand to offer guidance all the way. No pressure but each participant is marked on overall car control and the woman with the highest scores is entered on the website 'Hall of Fame'. Finish with a debrief and certificate presentation.

Availability

Takes place on weekend mornings, approximately five times a year between March and October.

Participant Guidelines

Minimum height is 4'2'', maximum is 6'4''. Maximum weight is 18 stone.

Weather

Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous.

Duration

Your experience will last for up to four hours, including a briefing, tuition with an instructor, around 25 minutes driving time and a debrief.

Numbers On Day

There will be up to 24 people taking part, split into groups of six. All in-car tuition is held on a one to one basis.

Spectators

You can take up to three spectators with you (one must be over 18 and children must be accompanied at all times). The whole track may be seen from the open uncovered spectator area which all guests must stay withiin. No pets are permitted.

Dress Code

Wear trainers rather than heavy boots. The RST is an open-top vehicle and you might get a bit wet and muddy, so wrap up warm in clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Other Info

You can buy hot and cold drinks and an independent mobile canteen is occasionally on site offering hot food. Instructors and staff on the day are usually male.

A well structured afternoon with excellent intruction from all staff involved. One afternoon just wasn't enough, definitely a must to repeat : ) A must for all wanting to challenge and test their driving skills, would definitely recommend.

This was given to me as a gift for my 40th birthday back in April. I have been looking forward to it soo much and I wasn't disappointed. The day was absolutely fab. Being able to drive fast and furious in a safe environment was great. My husband, son (9 yrs), Dad and step-Mum came to watch and enjoyed themselves nearly as much as me!!! My husband was so chuffed to see me doing what I have always dreamed of.

Totally enjoyed my morning with the team, the guys were fun, upbeat and friendly, all this at 8am on a Sunday morning! A clear and precise briefing was given before we were allowed near the rally cars, and the instructors were great, especially as I felt very nervous. I had an amazing morning and experience.
