Everything I Had Dreamed Of - And More!

What a fabulous surprise birthday present! Something I had wished for for a long time. The day itself was grey and cloudy so our pilot offered us the opportunity to re-book as the weather was not at its best:grey, rain due and possible thunder! But no. We set off half an hour later. It took us 10 minutes to cross the field to the grass runway and we were off! We flew between 1500 and 2k feet, beneath the clouds which cast the odd shadow on the ground but mostly the land was bathed in sunshine! There was no narrative but we were happy filming out the windows. We saw the huge green of Greenwich Park and the Naval College buildings were distinguishable by their quadrangles as was MI5! The Thames Barrier and O2 were next then Tower Bridge, the Shard & St Pauls were all easy to see as were London Bridge and Waterloo stations. Past Buckingham Palace and then home across north London easily spotting the white gun in the Emirates stadium. It was London in miniature & perfect even the traffic flowed!

    Great, Enjoyable Experience

The pilot was accomodating and knowlegeable. The visability was very clear. My daughter being a wheelchair user was not an issue. We had a great family experience

We four adults enjoyed our sightseeing flight over London. The day was sunny and cloudless. Our pilot explained all before take off and we were treated to all the major sights. Take off and landing as smooth as silk. Flight Centre had a great clubhouse with super breakfasts or Sunday roasts. Recommended for any treat

    A Fantastic Experience

This was a great day out for me and my family. It was a windy day and the flight was a bit bumpy, but we all enjoyed ourselves and the views over London were fantastic. It was the first time that any of us (my wife and I, our seven year old daughter and my mother-in-law) had flown in a small aircraft and we were probably all a bit nervous before we took off, but the pilot was very good at putting us at ease. He was also very good at manoeuvring the aircraft so that we had excellent views and photo opportunities. I lived in London for over thirty years and it was brilliant to see familiar landmarks from a completely different perspective. I would thoroughly recommend the experience to anyone who has not tried it already.

Our flight was in mid June on a brilliantly clear and sunny day. We saw amazing sites from the Houses of Parliament to the 2012 Olympic site, Arsenal and Tottenham football grounds, the Thames Barrier and Canary Wharf and the new Shard building. The pilot gave a full briefing before hand and indicated points of interest whilst in fight. A truly memorable day and one we will not forget for a long time. Take your camera!

From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. The pilot was very informative and the flight was great. He even gave my son a fantastic view of the Emirates Stadium as he is a big fan! It was a super flight and we saw everything that was on the list.

I surprised my husband on his birthday by booking in a flight experience for all of us. Had to keep it a secret a very long time and just prayed that it is all worth it in the end. Luckily the weather was perfect....all that was left was the flight experience it self. The ground staff were very accomadting as we were stuck in a bad traffic jam. The pilot was lovely and the view of london from high up in the sky was spectacular. My whole family was really pleased. Thank God and Red Letter Days!

    Amazing!

I'm not a great flyer but this was an amazing experience. It felt like we had London to ourselves and saw a completely different side to the city. It was a memorable experience for the whole family.

We had an amazing day sightseeing over London in the Piper Seneca light air-craft. We were really impressed with the service at the airfield. The Pilot, Chris, normally teaches commercial pilots during the week and was amazing. He was really excited to be up in the air as well and dipped the wings so we could see the sights. A truly amazing day.

Great family flight, good pre-flight briefing and the pilot was happy to point out landmarks as we went. Living just outside London we were very pleased that the pilot could fly over our local area - made the flight even more unique!
