  • About

Unless you are going for your private pilot licence, not many people have travelled in such a small plane as the Cessna 152, Piper PA26 or 38. They are small and light with just two seats, so that you are sitting upfront with a fully qualified instructor. They can talk you through the controls on the dashboard ahead. Should you be feeling confident enough, the instructor will allow you to take over and fly the plane yourself for part of your 30 minute flight. You will have had a safety briefing and talk about flying techniques on the ground before you set off, so you'll be fully equipped. Take the opportunity to pretend you are a pilot, you never know, this could be the start of a love affair with flying.

    • Expert instruction from your qualified pilot
    • Breathtaking views of the earth and the sky
    • Take the controls and pilot the plane during your 30 min flight

    Unforgettable Half And Hour

What a brilliant way to spend half and hour. Tony the pilot was very informative and explained the controls and the working of the plane before we took off. It was a pleasure to view my home town of Brighton as we flew along the English Channel. I took the controls and flew between Brighton and Newhaven where we circled my house so I could take photos. We then flew inland towards Lewes and on to the New Amex Stadium, which we circled a couple of times and finally back to Shoreham Airport. My only regret I did not book an hour and I did not have the foresight to do it years ago. A fantastic and unforgettable morning!

The instructor was very professional and helpful, giving the right mix of a technical flying lesson and an enjoyable pleasure flight over the south coast. The staff were very helpful in booking the flight at a time to suit me.

For anyone who has not done it, a flight in a light aircraft should not be missed - to actually fly the thing is a whole new layer of experience. I was able to take-off, turn, bank and climb - of course, the instructor was operating in the background but he did that subtley, so there was a real sense of control and decision making. Take care this is wonderfully addictive!

Tried something I probably would never have done. Could easily become addicted to flying my own plane. Thanks for the experience, first class service from start to finish.

An amazing and incredibly smooth experience, from receiving the stylish Red Letter Day pack to the event itself. A flight over Sussex with an experienced team made for a perfect present from the girlfriend. Nice touches with the text wishing me the best the day before, along with the follow up contact, meant that I felt completely satisfied with a great service. Recommended for a sunny Sussex afternoon.

It was such an amazing experience to be able to control a light aircraft. It is not something a lot of people can say they have done. It is completely different to sitting in the back of a Boeing or Airbus, I was surprised at how it was not that bumpy despite being windy on the ground. The views you get are lovely, definitely something I would love to do again, it has made me want to do my pilot's licence!!

    Wonderful!

An excellent experience, with lovely people, and I actually got far more control of the plane than I suspected I might - brilliant!
