This taster REALLY exceeded my expectations. I received it as a gift, and really enjoyed the day. Lets start by saying, this isn't for the feint hearted, the capabilities of these boats is amazing. The boats are fast, but its more the handling, and the jumping that really excite. The boats turn really well, throwing you around. But nowhere near as much as the jumping the waves. The first couple of jumps are frightening, as you think the boat is about to fall apart. As you gain confidence, you really appreciate the workmanship of the boats. It was frightening, i almost lost lunch, i had white knuckles, and i'd do it again tomorrow.

Great Afternoon with an excellent and personable skipper on the boat. Exhilarating and exciting. We stormed over the waves and took turns on the steer. Truly a Red Letter Day cause I didn't think it would Float my boat but boy...Did it!!

Reallywell organised and was really relaxed and fun day. Organisers were very friendly, not overbearing and really helped make the day. Definitely recommend!

I had an excellent time at the Honda Offshore Powerboating taster! I was amazed that he boat could go through turns at such speed and was very pleased to find that we did all the driving. The skipper, Matt, was relaxed and mande everyone enjoy their experience!

Really fun experience. Instructor was great as just letting the 4 passengers split the driving between them. He just controlled the throttle and told us where to turn. Really exhilarating!

What a brilliant afternoon everthing was great, the staff were friendly, we were well looked after and felt safe even in high speed cornering and wave jumping, I thought, no way! whooooooh we did! More! if you want a rush, try this, absolutely brilliant

I was given the powerboating experience as a leaving gift from work. I had asked for a Kindle, but I was pretty glad they ignored me! Although it took me a while to get round to booking the day, I eventually did so at short notice and headed down to Southampton. These experiences always seem to fly by and leave you wanting more. Here, we headed down the solent for 10 minutes out to more open water where a rectangle of 4 buoys were laid out as a circuit. The instructor showed us what the boat can do (pretty amazing!) before we took turns - 2 practise laps then a timed lap. The experience lasts an hour. Each lap of the circuit takes just over a minute. Couple of pointers - I took my family down there, but in truth all they can do is watch you get in the boat and cruise slowly out of the marina. There's not a great deal to do in the vicinity so if you've got kids there, take something to keep them busy! In truth they'll be holed up in the Waterfront bar awaiting your return.

A fantastic hour on the water, with more time at the wheel than I had expected. The experience provided a thrilling bumpy ride over the waves, with such incredible fun. Time to rebook for my brother and nephews!

Booked this experience for my Husband and two sons.As the boat takes 4 i was asked did i want to go, paying i went and we had a absolutely brilliant time. Highly recommend it if you like speed and bumps. Would definitely recommend.

Had great time. Loved the experience. Drove the boat out of the 'quay' and into the Solent. Under the instruction of the instructor took the boat across the waves, did several figures of 8 at a great speed. Had a good length of time at the 'wheel'. Great company. Instructor very friendly/sociable. Was just as great being a passenger in the back, when others had their turn, as when driving. Felt safe at all times. Want to experience the 'Cat' now!

A greatly shared experience to enjoy, within the group of 4 people who were all freindly. The teacher (James) was polite, interested and passionate about the event. I was not disappointed at all. Was the best present from my girlfriend.

Staff at Sabre Marine were really helpful and professional. After the safety briefing we went out into the Solent where the Skipper really opened up the throttle.I never knew you could fly in a boat! Wave jumping and high speed cornering were awesome! Did two flying laps and then a timed lap with our Skipper teaching us the racing lines. Power at it's best. Would I do it again? Oh yes!

Had a fantacstic afternoon on the speed boat driving the boat was great but it was just as much fun in the back. The weather was fantastic and the instructor was very helpful and confident to let us play with a very expensive toy!
