    Experience the tremendous power of one of the world's fastest production powerboats. Built in California, the Hypercat is graceful and boasts incredible handling in the water. You'll begin with a full safety briefing, including an introduction to the boat itself. Your crew will usually be veteran powerboat champions who know how to ride these beasts to their full potential. You'll learn how to control the Hypercat at speeds of up to 60 mph and once you head out to open water, there's an opportunity to try your hand at driving. You're sure to leave feeling thoroughly invigorated.

    Availability

    Weekend dates during the main season from May to September, plus selected Fridays around once a month.

    Participant Guidelines

    Minimum age is 16. Minimum height is 5'. Maximum weight is 16st 7lbs. This experience isn't suitable for anyone with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women.

    Weather

    This is a weather dependent activity. It's essential that you call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm the evening before you go.

    Duration

    This experience lasts for two and a half hours including a safety briefing, driving time and a debrief. Please arrive a few minutes prior to your start time as the boat can't wait for latecomers.

    Numbers On Day

    There will be up to four other participants on board.

    Spectators

    Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore.

    Dress Code

    Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear flat, non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles will be useful if it's windy.
