Nerves of steel and a stomach of solid rock? Then our ultimate aerobatic flying experience is for you. The experience starts with your feet firmly on the ground and a comprehensive briefing from your expert pilot. You'll chat through any specific requirements so your flight can be tailored to what you want (and how brave you're feeling). Then you'll climb aboard a Pitts Special high-performance aerobatic plane. Hold on tight while your pilot puts the plane through its paces with a breathtaking and stomach-churning full aerobatics sequence (we mean it - for goodness sake don't eat a big meal beforehand!). Then if you want to have a go (and we're pretty sure that you will) your instructor will hand over the controls and you can experience the thrill of flying a plane yourself. Back on terra firma, collect your aerobatics certificate, and make the most of your photo opportunities.

Participant Guidelines: Minimum age is 16. Maximum weight 18 stone. Minimum height 4'11''. If you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. This experience is not suitable for pregnant women or anyone unable to climb into the open cockpit.
Weather: Aerobatic flying is very weather dependent. It is crucial that you call the centre (after 9am) on the day, for a weather check. If your flight is cancelled due to the weather, you will be able to rebook.
Duration: Chock-to-chock flight time is 30 minutes. Please allow an additional two to three hours on top of your flight time for the whole experience, including briefings, embarking, certificates and photo opportunities.
Numbers On Day: Your briefing may be shared, but only you and your qualified pilot will be in the aircraft during your flight.
Spectators: A maximum of four spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land. A pair of binoculars or a camera will come in handy. Pets are not permitted.
Dress Code: Dress comfortably and wear flat, soft soled shoes. Any special clothing and headsets will be provided. Bring sunblock and a hat in summer, and gloves in cold weather. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year. Weekends can get very busy, if you want a weekend date we recommend booking several weeks in advance.
Other Info: The Pitts Special is one of the leading high-performance aerobatic flying machines, used by professional pilots in aerobatic competitions around the world. Don't eat a big meal before your flight, it might make you nauseous.
