Lots of interesting information about the origins of different types of tea, and tips on how to brew tea correctly. It was also great to be able to try lots of different types of tea from all over the world and to discover new ones that I like. I can't wait for my blend to arrive in the post!

Alex mixes this tea tasting experience with education and humour like a true master blender. The evening was informative, enjoyable, and interactive for a tea lover without being pretentious or overboiled. The small group allowed chances for open discussion and Alex's relaxed and informal style made learning fun. I will definitely be recommending the workshop to friends.

Well organised and thoroughly enjoyable event. Extremely informative in a very appropriate venue. This gave my husband a wonderful birthday present and can't wait for the vineyard tour we have yet to go on.

I was not sure how a tea tasting event could fill 3 hours and still be fun... bit it did and it was. The chap who was running the event eloquent, entertaining and interesting. A very enjoyable afternoon (if you like tea). And the venue was spot on too.

The time absolutely flew by and Alex's presentation was entertaining and informative, with an interesting selection of teas to try plus all the 'insider information' on how to get the best brew. A very pleasant and relaxed way to spend an afternoon. No adrenalin rush but definitely a caffeine high!

Alex is a great orator and really knows his tea. For anyone who enjoys tea of any kind, this is the Red Letter Day for you. A chance to experience many different teas and to challenge your taste buds, coupled with an excellent insight into the history of the teas themselves. Great venue too!!!! Highly recommended.

Alex Probyn clearly loves his job and filled the session with his enthusiasm. The tea industry is vast and overwhelming, but Alex guided us through his world effortlessly. I came away having answered so many questions and understanding the different types, flavours and origins of tea and herbal infusions. A great day for tea lovers.

It was was very enjoyable to see someone who is both passionate and so well informed talk on a subject. Has taught me a lot and encouraged me to sample new teas going forward. The setting was ideal and the event was well paced and well put together.

Alex is hugely knowledgeable and I found it fascinating to learn more about something I have been drinking all my life. We covered all sots of different teas both black and herbal including advice on correct brewing temperatures (it really does make a difference).

A very comprehensive and interesting day. Alex Probyn proved to be an excellent teacher and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was enthusiastic about his subject and conveyed this to us in every way.

Alex Probyn was fantastic and certainly knew his stuff. He was enthusiastic and very interesting. The venue let the experience down slightly as it was very cramped and there was music playing. The number of people and the venue may have contributed to the over-running on the time.

I couldn't fault anything. The booking was easy and when I had a query on dates the person I spoke to was very helpful. As for the experience we attended, it was just brilliant and Alex Probyn is a gifted presenter.
