About

If you fancy doing something adventurous and don't mind getting a bit wet, try kayaking. It's fun, active and an intimate way to get acquainted with one of our capital city's loveliest canals. From leafy Regent's Park, begin with a safety briefing and an outline of basic handling techniques from your expert instructor. Then go out onto the water, each of you in your own one-person kayak. You'll be shown a variety of skills used by the experts to quickly get the hang of your boat. This kayaking option takes place when everyone else is at work and we think you'll be surprised at the level of quiet calm. What's more, it's great fun and can't be beaten for the sheer pleasure of powering silently across the water. The scenery around you makes a perfect backdrop and is really quite relaxing. Kayaking suits beginners and the experienced so whether you are entirely new to the sport, or stepping back into a boat which is familiar territory, we think you'll love this very different day out.
