It's a quandary - we really do want to go and look at cultural stuff and learn new things, but we only get a couple of days off a week and we also want to relax and, well, have a drink. So thank goodness for Vinopolis - a unique attraction devoted to the world of wine and its associated pleasures. With this lovely experience you'll get a delicious three course lunch at Cantina Vinopolis (wine not included) and then you're free to take a tour of Vinopolis at your own pace, armed with your free Vinopolis tasting notebook. Your visit includes a fascinating virtual tour of the wine regions of the world and a valuable 15 minute How To Taste Wine session, where a qualified wine professional demonstrates how to truly appreciate wine and its associated pleasures, using all your senses. There is also a choice of five wines for you to taste. But Vinopolis isn't just about wine - you'll also get a Bombay Sapphire cocktail as part of the tour. All in all a pretty good way to spend a day off.

Participant Guidelines: Alcohol is part of this experience so the minimum age is 18. Disabled customers are welcome; Vinopolis has full wheelchair access.
Duration: Please arrive in good time to Vinopolis reception desk, they will direct you to the restaurant and issue your tour tickets. You can browse any time from 12 noon if lunch is booked for later. After lunch, you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
Dress Code: Dress code at the restaurant is smart casual - no trainers please.
Availability: Five days a week (venue is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays) throughout most of the year, excluding all of December and the New Year period (up to 3 January).
Other Info: You must bring your Red Letter Days voucher or booking letter with you to produce at reception on the day. A 12.5% drinks service charge applies. For obvious reasons, driving to Vinopolis is not recommended - it is easily accessible by public transport.
