    Vinopolis is a one of a kind attraction devoted to the world of wine and based around the great wine producing regions of the world including France, Italy, Australia, California, South Africa as well as lesser known places such as Thailand. Start your experience armed with a free tasting notebook, which also includes a fascinating virtual tour and a 15 minute 'How to Taste Wine' session, where a qualified wine professional demonstrates how to truly appreciate wine using all senses. Widen your knowledge and your palette as you choose six wines to taste, get two absinthes, two beers, two whiskies, two rums and a Bombay Sapphire cocktail.

    Availability

    Available Thursday to Sunday throughout the year (the venue is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and all bank holidays). Vinopolis will be closed from June to autumn 2012 (following refurbishment).

    Participant Guidelines

    Alcohol is part of this experience so the minimum age is 18. Disabled customers are welcome; Vinopolis has full wheelchair access.

    Duration

    Please arrive in good time to the Vinopolis reception desk, where you will be issued your tour tickets and audio guide. Your tour should last approximately two hours.

    Other Info

    You must produce your Red Letter Days booking letter at reception on the day. For obvious reasons, driving to Vinopolis is not recommended - it is easily accessible by public transport.

    Around The World In A Few Hours

    Little did I think that we'd be drinking our way around the world whilst in the heart of London in just a few hours. The team at Vinopolis are so helpful and friendly and obviously enjoy their jobs. So many wines to sample and with clear and informative advice on offer throughout. I'd miss out on the beer, whiskey and absinthe sampling - just stick to the wines - this is what this place does so well. We'll certainly be returning in the future, a great afternoon or evening in London.

    I went to this with my best friend and we had a brilliant time, learning how to taste wine and trying various spirits too. We really enjoyed the 'Bombay Sapphire' cocktail...great end to a great afternoon. Would definitely go again!

    This was a fantastic experience which I would definitely recommend to others. We enjoyed tasting the different spirits and appreciated the different types of wines from around the world. It was nice to have our own time after the 'how to taste wine' session so we felt we were not rushed. I very much enjoyed the Bombay Sapphire cocktail and will definitely attempt to make this myself. Overall a fantastic and very enjoyable experience.

    The experience was a gift and my son and I spent a great day out on my recent trip to London. We spent 4 hours there and were made to feel really special. Relaxing and interesting too.
