As a gift from our son I must say it was one of the most enjoyable days out I've had in a long time. The tour was informative and interesting, and the tea for two was filling and very tasty, with pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. All in all a really good day out.

We really enjoyed the whole day at Wedgwood. We found the factory tour very interesting and were pleased to see some of the Olympic statues being made (for the dignatories) for the London Olympics

My sister and I had a great afternoon visiting the Wedgewood Visitors Centre. The organisation was excellent and the tea served was perfect. My sister and I were both born in the Potteries so it was good to re-engage with our past. I would recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in learning more about our Industrial past and to see old techniques and skills still being used.

A Wonderful Way To Spend A Day!

The staff at Wedgwood made us feel special all day - from reception to the museum. Customer care at its best. The site itself consists of a demonstration area (hand painting, throwing pots, jewellry making and much more. The artists talk with the visitors and answer questions), a cinema (watch an interesting 20 minute film about the beginnings of Wedgwood), a large museum (following the start of Wedgwood thru to the present day with lots of original artifacts including the experimental work of Josiah Wedgwood), a boutique shop (selling jewellry and small items), a larger shop (selling many different dinner services, vases and so on) and a factory outlet (selling seconds, discontinued lines etc). All the Wedgwood staff were wonderful and an example to customer facing staff everywhere. We had a simply wonderful day.

The whole experience was enchanting, 250 years of unforgettable history. We met the people who make the dishes and that has to be an experience in it's self, the museum was magnificent. The only draw back was the sandwiches we asked for, brown bread and got a selection brown and white, and also gluten free cake? But never the less it was superb, very enjoyable, recommend to friends from now on.

This was a very interesting afternoon. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was fascinating to see individual artists at work and amazing that they could talk as well as concentrate on their skills. The museum is excellent... very well arranged, clean most interesting. The tea was as described with a variety of finger sandwiches, home made cakes, quiche, biscuits and scones. The staff were very attentive and the experience was thoroughly enjoyed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon out. We arrived at reception and were made to feel very welcome as our options were presented to us. We chose to have the guided tour round the factory first and this was most informative and interesting. After a lovely tea, we visited the museum, the shop and saw a film.
