Wonderful day, very interesting with friendly and attentive staff. Excellent lunch. One small criticism, not enough hands on in the pot throwing, otherwise good fun.

I booked a day out for my Mum, Brother and Sister and I to spend some time together for a change and we had a lovely day. We couldn't have been made more welcome. The factory tour was fascinating and we all want to work there now. We had tea and biscuits on arrival and a lovely lunch. The museum, shop and outlet store kept us very busy but the best part was getting to be creative throwing pots and painting plates. I would recommend this day out to anyone of all ages. We'll be returning with the kids, they'll love it.

    Great Experience!

Doors opened at 10am, then it was non stop for a full day. We couldn't have wanted more help from the Wedgwood Team. The whole experience was so memorable. Enamelled a plate, threw a pot and just enjoyed the whole day. Can't wait to do it again. A Great Red Letter Day Experience

The Red Letter Day stood out from all the rest of the tours as we were so well looked after and made to feel so special due to our Red Letter badges. It was a wonderful experience and one we will not forget. Red Letter Days certainly has the edge when it comes to organising visits such as this.

A Wonderful Day For My Husband And I.

This was a wonderful gift given to my husband from our grown up children, to celebrate his retirement!. We both had a smashing day at the Wedgwood Visitor Centre watching the film on how Wedgwood started, also watching how all the different things are made. The meal was first class, but the best bit of all for both of us, was the chance to decorate our own plate! Something to keep, so that we both can remember our special day out at the Wedgwood Centre. The gifts that I received were beautiful and something to treasure! Thank you all for a wonderful day.

A wonderful welcome and explanation was given by the receptionist. The film was brilliant, I wished I could buy a copy of it. The artistic demonstrators were keen to explain the processes on offer. They were friendly and excellent in their guidance on throwing pots, jewellery making and decoration of pottery. The museum is amazing. The 2 hours we allocated to visiting it were not enough and we are looking forward to returning soon. The food was really delicious and the service was good. My friend and I had a brilliant day and would recommend this venue to anyone interested in History.

    Excellent Museum.

The day was exactly as described, staff very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the heating had broken down and we were very cold all day - snow on the ground! Otherwise a very nice experience.

I booked the tour as part of our wedding anniversary day and what a fantastic day this was. It was a very well organised day and exactly as described ++++ Their dedicated staff made it such a memorable day and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. We were helped to throw a pot of our own by a gentleman with such skill and patience, the self guided tour of the centre was fantastic and the food and service in the Ivyhouse restaurant was outstanding. On the table when we went for lunch were also two beautiful pieces of handmade wedgewood jewellery. A big Thanks to all at Wedgewood for such a special day. We would have no hesitation recommending this experience to our family and friends.

I was surprised and delighted with our day at Wedgwood. I have been to many factory tours but Wedgwood was by far the best. The staff were fabulous all day and as soon as you pinned the Red Letter Day badge on it was corporate hospitality all the way. It was the attention to detail that impressed me. When we took morning coffee in the restaurant our reserved table was already laid out for lunch with our gifts in a Wedgwood carrier bag on the table. These were very nice pieces of jewelry.Lunch was waitress served and excellent. The whole Wedgewood museum, restaurant and shops were immaculate and beautifully presented. The pot throwing gentleman was very patient and with his help you went home with a very presentable momento. The experience was forecast to be 2 hours with an hour for lunch. We stayed there for 6 hours and the time flew by. I loved this visit. Absolute value for money and everything that was promised was provided. A rare thing these days.

Plenty of parking including disabled parking opposite the visitor centre entrance. Well organised and a nice welcoming atmosphere with very well presented exhibits in the museum. Factory walking tour was very informative and you could ask questions and speak to the workers. The hands on throwing a pot was very good fun and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The tea and shortbread on arrival was a nice touch. Lunch was very good with good portions and cooked to order. One small gripe,it would have been nice to have a drink included in with the meal as this had to be paid for as an extra. Everything is undercover so the rain won't be a problem except for the short walks between the buildings (there is a mini-bus to get to the factory tour) There is a factory shop as well as the main showroom where you can buy not only Wedgwood but other products as well such as glassware, figurines kitchenware etc. but there was no pressure to buy anything.

Can't praise the Wedgewood experience highly enough. We arrived at 10am and left at 5pm. Had an excellent lunch and the staff could not have been more helpful. I would recommend this to anyone. Throwing your own pot is not to be missed

Had an excellent day, helped by very friendly staff, excellent food and very interesting visitor centre. Ran out of time so will be using the privelege card to go back to finish off the tour. Particularly enjoyed the master craft area and enjoyed making our pots with the help a very nice man named John. Very pleased with the jewellery gifts, looking forward to our return visit

We chose a sunny September day and the centre was fairly quiet (no school trips) so we had undivided attention making our pots. The staff treated us like royalty and we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The Wedgwood tour was well organised and the factory is modern and effectively set up for visitors. The staff were welcoming, the restaurant excellent and the demonstrators friendly and knowledgeable. It was good fun throwing a pot. We were not rushed and were able to spend as long as we wanted in the various demonstration sections, the museum and shops. Highly recommended!
