Two bottles of classic French wine packaged in a luxury, silk-lined, hinged wooden gift box. One bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge: a fantastically fruity wine with plenty of spicy tannin hiding under the fruit. It's ripe and supple, with a distinctive spicy peppery edge to the raspberryish fruit and lovely purity. One bottle of Chablis Premier Cru Montmains: an upmarket Chablis with a distinctive fresh nutty nose and some straw-like notes. The palate is broad and nutty, with a nice acid bite and a subtle green herbal edge. Delicious.
